-Critical Role Campaign 2, Episode 108, "Traveler Con"
Into the Void, I Confess...,
... tequila makes me bite people indiscriminately.
Intresting last couple of days
(Warning: the content below does contain things such as drunk behavior and child abuse. I will tag them as well but if anything i have said might be too sensitive for you or a trigger then do not continue reading)
Firday was our towns show day (it lasts for 3 days) and that was exciting and also the five year anniversary of me and my boyfriends first date <3
But yesterday i got a very alarming call from my mother. On the friday night my sisters were staying with their dad (not my dad, i love my dad) his WIFE drove the kids back to my mothers to keep them safe because he went on a drunk and abusive rampage. And i am very grateful for what she did. So i went to the show on the second day with the kids and mum to help out, make sure the kids have fun and be the second pair of eyes on the lookout. He also that morning screamed abuse at the house and drove up and down the street (causing mum to buy a lock for the gate). The police have been called in a total of 3 times in less than 12 hours (the police did respond do not worry) so he is gonna be getting into some trouble
It was unfortunate and upsetting that he did this. But do not worry the kids are safe and were not harmed. He did rough them up a bit when he tried to force them into the car, but his wife got to the car first and got the kids safely back home.
Asking the manager if you can have one more chicken strip because you're not exactly full yet but you don't want another whole plate. & he actually gives you one 😢
I wanna be this drunk.
1 Tequilla, 2 Tequilla, 3 Tequilla, Floor!
This past weekend my family went to Las Vegas to celebrate my grandfather's 75th Birthday. I haven't been to many, if any, family outings on my father's side for quite some time. Perhaps a year or more? Who knows.
My family picked out a random Mexican restaurant for dinner. We all arrived around the same time, with the exception of a few. When my aunt came in, a long while later, after we had already ordered. She came stumbling in, drunk as a skunk.
It was quite the sight. A grown woman (with three children quietly seated at the table) barely able to stand while the rest of us continued our conversations, trying in vain to ignore her. Her daughter (10 yrs old) commented on the state of her mother immediately. "She's already drunk and we just got here!" I told her to hush up.
There were many things said that night, and much more said by my aunt, rather loudly I might add. I've never been embarrassed to be with my family before. I couldn't believe how out of it she was, how loud she was, how she kept stumbling over, and basically was just a drunk mess.
Afterwards we went to the casino and I glanced around silently observing the masses. I saw various girls, around my age, stumbling across the hotels, casino floors, escalators. I concluded this:
Being openly drunk in public is not cute.
Being drunk and obnoxious in public is embarrassing not only for the drunk fool, but for whoever else in his/her party.
Almost falling over your own two feet (and not because of stilettos) is very unladylike. But hey, who cares about that stuff now days?
I understand that I am no saint, nor do I pretend to be. But I rarely party like a drunk fool. I rarely get openly drunk for the world to witness. I do not partake in debauchery. It may have been cute in high school, but that sort of behavior isn't funny in real life. It's hardly funny in movies. Â
I know there are people who are quite pleasant drunk, and know how to behave, but a lot of times, this just isn't the case.
