Ok im lowkey bored so

“Jovisverse” is what I currently call this weird fantasy-esque world where its probably? Post-post-POST apocalyptic and it takes place on this nearly barren superplanet where its terraformation was botched a couple thousand years ago so the life that it spawned came out WrongTM but also not cuz humans still live here. But some of them are blue now and some of them also turned into lobsters. HURRAY

jovisverse is called that cuz the center of this universe is this dude named Jovis, who is a...cat-human homunulus? Thing?? Person?? and theyre a very influential steppe wizard warlord (ACCIDENTALLY) who is prophesied/thought to be a demigod that’ll remake the world or whatever. Jovis has been stuck with this fate since they were like 10 and now theyre in their 50s (QUESTION MAAARK??) and its so tiring. They r so fucking tired and done with everything but ThingsTM happen so like in a bid for...equilibrium maybe?? their accidental warlordism goes from “haha silly” to “and then I SERIOUSED” and they essentially become a wizard god tyrant. YAAAAY

Shan is their adopted daughter, who they kind of stole from a cloning facility (ITS STILL FANTASY I SWEAR-) as an infant and raised her to sort of like, confront their own issues about their own fucked up childhood (AND THAT ALWAYS GOES RIGHT AMIRIGHT) and while they were hoping to raise a “normal happy” child Shan is like eff u dad im gonna be a necromancer-thing. Im gonna live in the library and eat books and raise the dead and unlock dark arcane unknowable things and Jovis is like “oh!!...okay!!”. They r very supportive of her, mostly due to having a similar origin and also cuz of Shan’s disabilities (cerebral palsy, scoliosis, right side of her face is more or less kinda melted off so shes blind in that eye etc) but Shan is kind offfff neglecteeeed? Emotionally??? KJBVFKJSDBV ya and feels that she needs to step up to Royal Duties as The Heir no matter how much she doesn’t want to and also even though Jovis is like ‘haha silly child. Im gonna live forever (threat) u don’t have to worry about a thing, just do whatever you want’ but NO!!! SHE HAS!!! TO PROVE HERSELF AND MAKE A GOOD IMPRESSION!!!! GRAHH!! the dark arts can wait-

now onto En. Oh my god

En is from one of the planet’s moon and is one of the blue people but also kind of not cuz he’s a bastard child of sorts, his mom was a regular schmegular human. When Jovis got their hands on him he was half feral cuz he wasnt allowed to interact with his fullblooded siblings or literally anybody its kinda sad. Anyway so Jovis took his ass hostage/as a ward from the moon kingdom and essentially raised him to be Shan’s bodyguard/companion of sorts. A bit too well unfortunately cuz En is completely devoid of like, ethics and morality unless SHAN says otherwise. He’s stupidly obsessed with Shan and will quite literally do wtv she tells/commands him to like. If he upsets her in some way he flogs himself its that bad. But also HE’S!! SEEN AS SUPER COOL AND CHARISMATIC AND LAIDBACK!!! he never stresses over anything and people who don’t know him think hes a lazy bum who just smokes all day and think his tattoos r dumb (HE ALSO HAS TATTOOS. FULLBODY TATTOOS CUZ MOON KINGDOM POLITICS SHIT-). Anyway surface level he is a smug lazy sleazy bastard who kinda gets on Shan’s and Jovis’ nerves. He fights dual sword style and commands his own little mercenary army. His particular fav brand of warfare tactics is SIEGINGGGGG >> open field battle

As mentioned before. The vague sense of plot that happens has it so that Jovis at some point is like hey. Hey En. If u kill yur entire family I will give u permission to marry Shan and En is just “OH WORD??? ON GOD????????”

anyway ya those r the 3 mains (for now). The vibe for jverse is like, biopuuuunk? Kinda???? I said b4, fungus tower architecture. Giant magic Bugs r hunted for their chitin for armor and weapons. The moons of this planet exist on like 3 different planes all at the same time. ‘gods’ r real but they are actual biological beings that have been trapped beneath millions of pounds of ROOCCKKK but theyre mostly?? chill. They talk to whoever visits them. Grant all sorts of boons and powers for almost nothing in return. Their wardens/chaperons r sick of them-

there r guns, I mentioned this, but theyre in the vein of blunderbusses and flintlock rifles and firelances/hand cannons. Idk I just. If u got a fantasy story and its been THOUUUUSANDS OF YEARS and theres no like proooogreeess?? technologically? Idk I don’t like it (IMOOOO BREAKDANCES TO ARCANUM OBSCURA). Mechas exist but they r Grown from stem cells and blood and they r very much living creatures who need a ‘pilot’ to function and live. This never goes wrong trust
