Chart E is now complete! This one did take me two hours, but that’s just because there are now purls involved, and nothing good happens when there are purls involved in a knitting pattern. Especially when the even rows are knit the same as the previous rows, so I have to actually keep track of where the purls are and continue them.
It also does not help that I did the last two rows, including the five to one stitch braided decrease and beads, while drunk. Half a very large bottle of Baileys and a can of strawberry milk chu-hi later, I am slow as fuck at knitting lace. But not a stitch drop or bead forgotten!
I think the writer of this pattern is glaring very angrily at me. There are multiple notes that this pattern is not the kind of pattern that can be knit while watching TV. I’m watching the Expanse and drunk and knitting it just fine!
It should also be noted that I am crazy and the lace rot has destroyed my mind. There is nothing left, flee the internet and save yourselves. I am infectious.
The braided red cape behind the lace that you can barely see is the Lothlorien Cape. Great cape, I wear it around the house all fall and winter, nice and cozy.
