So I actually “drunk played” a little yesterday. I had a bottle of sparkling wine for my birthday (Vovray, because I thought it spelled out like Vowrawn, and I thought that was funny, I’m silly like that). And despite my pen name I actually can’t hold liquor very well...
I played a little Overwatch, and it seems my Tank winrate went up a percent and a half, while Defense went down. I guess I wanted to show off new skins I got for D.va (off tank) and Mei (defense dps) so apparently I play tank better drunk, but defense dps worse - maybe because Mei needs slightly better aim?
I also played some SWTOR pvp, but stopped when I realized I actually had an empty skill tree - I forgot I had not played since 5.0 reset them, but didn’t feel like I was in a state of mind to make decisions on those so just logged out...
Then I just played the single player game my sister had gifted me on steam, Crypt of the Necrodancer. It’s actually quite fun to play, I never had much of a tone ear, but the rythm aspect of the game is fun. It does have flashy images by default BUT it actually warns you about it before you enter the game and has options to tone it down! It has aesthetics of a 25yo game, but attitude of something far more modern, which is very nice.
Maybe I was physically alone on my birthday, but I did have fun.
