It's amazing how quickly my day can go from good to bad.
Got an email from AO3, informing me of a new comment on that Continuity fanfic I've been working on. See if you can pinpoint the exact moment my mood soured:
I thought I'd left this shit behind when I stopped posting to fanfiction dot net.
I am so tired, y'all.

Hey so I wrote something
This is a sequel to that New Vegas story I wrote years and years ago. That story ended up being almost a million words, and was (with some rather notable exceptions) meant to be a relatively faithful "novelization" of the game Fallout New Vegas.
This...
Is Not That.
This one is gonna get a bit strange. I'm working on the next chapter and will hopefully get it finished soon.
Fingers crossed this doesn't take me another 5 years to finish lol
So, I've been writing something
It's this fanfiction called "Continuity" NO WAIT STOP COME BACK
An Archive of Our Own, a project of the Organization for Transformative Works
It's a big multiverse crossover thing where my OC Tuera meets a whole bunch of other Variants of herself from other realities and alternate timelines.
While it's not immediately obvious, Warhammer Fantasy, the shitshow that was End Times, and even Age of Sigmar (technically) are critical to understanding what the fuck is going on. Because, while the POV character is the version of Tuera from Fallout: New Vegas, the one who kicks off the plot is the skaven version of Tuera from Warhammer Fantasy.
And there's this thing that's going to be showing up in the story, (hopefully) very soon, that I decided to sketch out. I apologize for the shitty quality, I took this on my phone because my scanner still doesn't work and I can't afford to replace it, but:
This is Ikit Claw's Doomfortress.
After Ikit used a personal teleporter and narrowly escaped being atomized by the trio of doomspheres that blew up the Black Pyramid of Nagash, he wound up in the Realm of Chaos, and was subsequently burdened with glorious purpose given a monumental task by the Great Horned Rat. To achieve the aims of this task, he's been making this. It's a big asteroid - 8 kilometers at its widest point - floating in an impossible sphere of artificially constructed RealSpace, suspended like an air bubble within the chaotic Sea of Souls. Within these walls of iron and stone, he has been building an army, plucking skaven from the past before the destruction of the World-That-Was by using the mutable nature of time in the warp to his advantage.
This location is going to be the site of a massive capital-B Battle in the upcoming chapters of this story... and I've decided to do something that's either going to be a terrible idea, or it's going to be the best idea I've ever had. There really is no middle ground here.
I am going to try and create a series of maps that will chart the unit composition and movements of both sides in this battle: Skaven Tuera's rebel army spearheaded by the Variants she's assembled from across the multiverse on one side, versus Ikit Claw's massive army of skaven that he's just going to chuck into the meatgrinder (because he's got bodies to spare) on the other.
Is this going to end up being a lot of work for this story that will amount to not much visible reward within the story itself? Probably.
But nobody ever accused me of being sensible.

Meanwhile...
So I wake up this morning, tun on my computer, open up tumblr and...
Huh.
Is this one of my dashboard un-fucker extensions, did tumblr get hacked, or is this something else entirely?
Either way, figure I should save it for posterity. Because, yeah, it's true. Fuck this site, and fuck the transphobic shitheads who run it.
