@drunknbastrd liked for a starter.
The voyage over seas that Pearl bore through seemed ever l a s t i n g-- as all she was able to see was the blue horizon while the vessel rocked with the waves. Its momentum initially made her queasy since she had spent her WHOLE life in London. She never really had to go overseas for anything. But it was only this time that she insisted to do so. Thus, within TIME, her body no longer had the necessity to react to such an environment.
She intended to TEMPORARILY stay in the Boston as her purpose there regard to her business back in London. She wanted to expand it. Build a support system of sorts--especially with the Colonial Templars. And once she officially arrived at the harbour (thank god), she left the vessel as soon as she could. Eventually encountering a man who seemed to have been idling for quite some time.
“Oh-- Are you suppose to be my escort? Thank GOODNESS you’re already here.” And without further ado, the woman grabs a hold of her heaviest luggage and shoves it into the man’s arms. “You wouldn’t believe how D R E A D F U L it was for me to be on that ship...” She rambled, already taking the initiative to walk ahead of the fellow.
