hello dantus/drutus enjoyers i have an idea:

okay so lotus dresses pretty gothic, yeah? and moths (esp deaths-head moths) are a pretty common motif in gothic clothing. so do we think, perhaps, that when lotus started developing a crush on dante that they started wearing more clothing with moths on them to get him to pay attention to them/think theyre pretty,,,,do we perhaps think this,,,,

yknow how goth has their "drain" ability that drains the energy out of people (death touch lite); lotus can probably do this too, yeah?

so imagine dante inquiring about this one day and lotus showing him by like, withering a flower at will, and dante is fascinated - he likes studying his partners abilities, so from a scientific standpoint, hes so intrigued

and then rurik watches lotus literally draw the lifeforce out of a living thing like that and is just. the most flustered you have ever seen him. bright green in the face, hes sitting there thinking ",,,,,,m,,,me next,,,,,,,"
