In light of recent events, I will have PLENTY of time to reread my favorite classic fantasy novels. I will NOT be letting socializing get in the way of the fantastic work I do here.
The Doctor will be in soon.

The Doctor is Checking In.
If you want a logical and pragmatic analysis on books that you are reading or plan to read, this is the blog for you.
Almost every month I will have a new book, with a new rating (Scale 0-50), and analysis. My recommendations to readers of a higher mental prowess will never dissapoint I'm sure.
I will also offer my own thoughts on other, less important media on the regular, and may on the offchance 'Blog'. Though it may be unlikely as it is not my main focus.
Refer to me, only, as the Doctor.
If you wish to suggest books or media for me to rate, I expect to be spoken too with respect. The Doctor only accepts suggestions from those who refer to him properly.
I have a right to refuse ANY book or media suggestions should I deam them immediately unworthy of my time. I will always give things a test to see if they are worth reading or watching, but if they are not, I will not post about them.
You are very welcome for my time. I expect you will respect it as I post on.
I hope you know nobodies showing up to that 'Doctor', but I will. I'll be there, you can count on it.
The Doctor doesn't like how this sounds.
But I will not let assumptions get in the way of passionate readers, you are welcome to join.
The Doctor is Checking In.
.. And, is starting a book club. Fans of the blog who go to kitagawa highschool will be delighted to hear this I'm sure. It'll take place every evening at 5:30 after classes, since most post/pre lunch spots were taken.
I'm expecting to see plenty of highly sophisticated readers, and will have activities planned ahead of time since I know this will attract much attention.
Bring your books, as I have permission to store them in the classroom.

Today's book:
Vampire Abomination
A wildly innacurate, though still incredibly fascinating look on vampirism and the study of becoming a vampire as a whole.
The notes in this volume written by Luthienn Seacrest (Of course a well knowledgeable woman on the subject) are challenged by an outside mind, and theorized to be completely false. Of course this outside mind (Roberto Balecqua) is completely WRONG in his ideas, having done little to no actual study, however his thoughts and theories on the matter of vampires and becoming a vampire are quite interesting.
It is of my opinion that while this is a very interesting read, the original (Vampire Encyclopedia by Luthienn Seacrest) is far better and has much more evidence behind it. Though, Mr Balecqua had some interesting ideas to share nonetheless.
Overall rating: 20/50. The price range of this book is not worth the contents inside when the original is far better. Ideas and baseless conspiracy are not worth 20.99.
