The Togekiss had done just enough to calm her nerves during the flight, but by the time the two had arrived in Blackthorn, Kotone was still crying. She knew she wouldn’t be able to keep it together once she got inside either. Kotone stumbled off her Pokemon once it landed, quickly returned it into her ball and twisted the doorknob to Lance’s home. Thank goodness the door wasn’t locked and she rushed in, shutting the door loud enough that it would bring attention to the fact she was there. If that wasn’t enough, she called out in a cracked voice, 

“Lance...!” It wasn’t very loud though and she cleared her voice to call again in a shaken tone, “L-Lance!”

Seeing the champion of Johto at the same place as Ethan is such a surprise. Last time he had talk to him is when he faced him to a battle. Ethan did manage to lose against him, but he does plan to have a rematch one day. But right now he just wanted to approach him, which was getting harder for him since Lance had an intense stare. But, he ends up approaching Lance anyways.

               It was a silly -and embarrassing- question to ask, but the trainer                had somehow managed to lose an entire Tyrantrum. She still hadn’t                the slightest clue how she had managed that, but it might have                happened when there was some confusion about whether or not                they were going to play hide and seek.
