Starting this year’s Diwali sweet recipes with this healthy, easy to make and crowd pleaser - Dry Fruit Chikki made using natural sweetness from dates , figs and dry grapes . Here is the easy recipe for Dry Fruit Chikki : 1. Take 2 cups of dates, 1 cup of mix fruits ( figs , dry apricot ( optional) and dry grapes) and grind them coarsely in a mixer grinder and set it aside 2. Take 2 cups of mixed nuts ( cashew nuts , almonds, apricot, pistachios) . Chop them or coarsely grind them and set it aside . 3. Heat 1 tablespoon of ghee and lightly toast the nuts and set it aside. 4. Now, in a heavy bottom kadai/ pan , add the dates mixture and heat over low flame . 5. After 5 minutes, add the nuts mixture little by little , and mix till well combined . 6. You can add a teaspoon of ghee and powdered cardamom at this point , mix and switch off. 7. Pinch small portions of the mixture and shape them in your desired shapes. Your dry fruit chikki is now ready !! You can skip ghee if you are vegan . It tastes so good 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻.
