“ You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream” - C.S. Lewis Age is just a number. It is never too late to pursue your passion. There is nothing that a homemaker cannot do. I never planned to be a ‘food blogger’ or a ‘food photographer’ or a ‘food stylist’. All I used to do is to try different recipes and cook for my family. ’Success’ , to me is not the amount of money we earn, but the amount of happiness we can give and share with people. There will always be people who are going to judge your intentions, attitude, appearance, background and doubt your capabilities. Remember, they are only making you stronger and helping you work harder. On the other hand, there will always be people who constantly encourage and motivate you and help you to believe in yourself. They understand your true passion. They are the ones who really matter. My journey from being a homemaker to a teacher to a home chef to a food blogger who loves sharing her stories through her food photographs, is full of such experiences. 2018 has been a year full of ups and downs. The downs came when I was diagnosed with an auto-immune skin condition and both my moms (mother & mother-in-law) faced health set backs. A big thanks to my family and friends who were a constant source of positivity and helped me stay positive and afloat. The high point of this year was when I made a presentation to a house full audience on ‘taking great food photographs using a smart phone’. I have to thank @google and @googlelocalguides for giving me this great opportunity. The response and love I received from the audience was so over whelming . It reiterated a message that if we focus on our journey, results will follow. It reinforces the fact that, Age is just a number. I want to thank each and everyone who have taken the time to comment, message on all my posts this year. I am ever grateful for your love and kindness.
