BBQ chicken wings baked in the oven are tasty and crunchy. The dry rub has just the right amount of sweetness and heat thanks to the brown sugar, spices, and herbs that are in it. Baking makes sure that the inside is juicy and the outside is satisfyingly crunchy.
Ingredients: 2 lbs chicken wings. 1/4 cup brown sugar. 2 tbsp paprika. 1 tbsp garlic powder. 1 tbsp onion powder. 1 tsp cayenne pepper. 1 tsp black pepper. 1 tsp salt. 1/2 tsp cumin. 1/2 tsp dried thyme. 1/2 tsp dried oregano. 1/4 cup olive oil.
Instructions: Preheat your oven to 400F 200C. In a bowl, mix brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, black pepper, salt, cumin, dried thyme, and dried oregano to create the dry rub. Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels and place them in a large mixing bowl. Drizzle olive oil over the wings and toss to coat evenly. Sprinkle the dry rub over the wings, making sure to coat them thoroughly. Place a wire rack on a baking sheet and arrange the seasoned wings on the rack, ensuring they are not touching. Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes or until the wings are golden brown and crispy. Remove from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy your delicious BBQ baked chicken wings with the best dry rub!
