i feel so stupid because in november i was really sweaty like “but nobody remembers death stranding nobody is really into it anymore i’m so late i’m so late as always what if no one wants to talk about it anymore” forgetting that the only way to appreciate something is to talk about it nonstop enough that someone will hear and that’s the only way to live and i’m so thankful for everyone willing to put up with my insane raving because sometimes i really can’t stand myself

Doctor Strange 2 Trailer 2 Thoughts

I’m back from another unplanned absence to talk about the second trailer. It was a doozy. I try to take all these trailers with a giant dash of salt because MArvel lies so much, but I just don’t know what to think.

Spoilers ahead if you don’t want any info.

- “Vis had his theories.” !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Canon may have given me a very low bar, but thank you for not completely forgetting about Vision again Marvel. I may get my heart broken, but I’m still hoping he’ll be one of the cameos. Although given how the other ones are turning out, it may be an evil version. :((((((

- There was not enough Wanda in this trailer for my liking.

- It was very poignant when she was looking at herself. I’m curious whether she spends some of her time looking through different universes, and that’s what we’re seeing. I have seen that concept in fics. I just hope there are some happy universes for her, but it does not look like that will be explored. 😭😭

- I do agree that it’s not fair that she always gets blamed when others can break the rules with no repercussions.

- Also curious why she was fighting Captain Marvel (I believe?). Whether it was alternate universe evil Captain Marvel or main timeline Captain Marvel trying to bring her into custody??????

- I hope they’re not doing possessed Wanda when she has the ring of red around her eye. It kind of seems like something might be hiding behind that eye but idek

- Also, the first time I watched the trailer, I watched it without sound. I really thought the side shot of the bald head was the Ancient One. But even though the trailer caption said “mystery voice,” it was clearly Patrick Stewart. I’m still reserving judgment on whether that means that’s the introduction of the “real” X-Men into the MCU. 

- The rest of the trailer was fine and dandy, but I’m really only here for Wanda (and the hope of Vision)
