The Evil Queen and Adelle weren’t alike that much. The Queen wanted beauty, so did Adelle. She was raised with a need for beauty, a need for attaining everything he mother wanted for her. She somehow adapted her mother’s mannerisms, checking her face in the mirror every five minutes, looking for any signs of ugliness. The day where she’d actually find something ugly has yet to come, but sh was already fearing it. Adelle, like her mother, was passive with irrelevant things. She didn’t care about the things that do not concern her.
↳ TRAITS OF THE HEART
Being the Evil Queen’s daughter, Adelle grew with a heaviness in her heart, always fearing ugliness and imperfection. Both of those weren’t allowed in her household so she strived to always look beautiful. But even though, Adelle loved moving, she loved running and dancing. Truth be told, the only thing she was excited about when she found out she was entering Escoria was the thought of playing sports. Adelle wanted to try the things she couldn’t do in Isle but she was too afraid to tell her mother for she already knew what her reaction would be like.
↳ ‘ TELL EVERYBODY I’M ON MY WAY— ’
Beauty and Elegance, all is fair in the Evil Queen’s Household. At least, it should be. The Evil Queen wanted nothing more than to have beautiful children, that was the sole reason she was born into the world. Her mother deemed that her older sister was not beautiful enough, hence the Evil Queen gave birth to another child, Adelle. Striving for her mother’s approval, Adelle never once disobeyed her mother’s wishes. Growing up, she only cared about how she looked in front of the Evil Queen, not anymore caring about what she herself wanted in her life. But her efforts seemingly weren’t enough, for the Evil Queen soon gave birth to another child. The reasons of the Evil Queen giving birth to her third child weren’t clear, but Adelle assumed it was because she simply wasn’t beautiful enough. For a short moment, she didn’t know what to do, she felt like she failed her mother. She felt ugly and filthy. But when she heard that she was being sent off to Escoria, Adelle felt excited and somewhat happy. She would be away from her mother and all of the things her mother expected her to be, she would be free. But that happiness was short lived, for the Evil Queen gave her daughter a task, with that task, Adelle felt for once she was important. And once again, the Evil Queen poisoned her daughter’s mind.
