Stop Motion Links
Here's some stop motion clips I really enjoyed:

The sound of a page being folded back for scene transition
This is a bubbly, optimistic piece of music that fits well with my aesthetic and narrative. I decided to go for this instead of Thoughts, the music that I put to my progress clip - because this music is much lighter and more playful. Children/young adults would be a lot more willing to get involved with something that evokes positivity. The other piece was too weighty.
feedback from peer critique and tutors
I've gotten some really helpful feedback from both my classmate critique and the tutors when I presented my stop motion so far. Suggestions to improve my narrative centre around expressing that the character in the first poverty-stricken scene is in fact living in poverty and not taking part in the challenge. The title "Caritas Challenge, Mighty Ks" currently occurs in parallel to the character in poverty which is confusing and wasn't my intention. So I've decided to delay the text until the end. The narrative itself can convey the information. I need to just ensure that the environment speaks enough of poverty, and that it's clear the character is walking toward purpose.
As for aesthetic - elements are not dynamic enough, such as the rain and the moon. This is something I will need to work on. Lighting shifts to show time passing may be a lot more effective.
The tone between the two scenes at the moment are too similar. As a result, the struggle the character in poverty feels is lost, therefore the entire message of the clip is compromised. I need to really emphasise the contrast between these two living environments. Music, lighting and the expressions of the characters themselves I feel will achieve this.
