Whenever I can hear Daisy grumbling but can't see her, this is where she is.
Royal family headcanons: Peach grew up with very little contact with other humans other than perhaps her parents, who have either never been present or have passed away long ago. Since, Peach has been raised by Toadsworth and Grandma Toadstool, not to mention other castle residents/staff. For this kind of company while growing up, and no other children in sight, she learned from a young age how to interact with adults and behave on a mature level, and began to take on political responsibilities from a young age. Daisy is close with Peach partly for her just being one of the only other humans in Peach’s life, as well as a mutual in terms of age and social status.
Daisy’s kingdom has more humans and so she has interacted with more of them than Peach. She has a number of (potentially older) brothers, having encouraged a boisterous personality from the beginning. While she can rough-and-tumble with the best of them, being the only girl around also confirmed her feminine side as a unique and cherished trait of hers, being why she still wears dresses and makeup. Daisy, like Luigi, had trouble fighting for attention with her brothers - though her approach was to get louder until she’s noticed, where Luigi has simply learned to get by without much attention.
