+ video games
(open up a beer, and you say get over here and play a video game)
@dsivana
seth spends half of his weekend locked up in his dorm room, eyes completely glued to the monitor screen of the television, spare batteries scattered all over the floor beside him as his thumbs move swiftly across his console. his roommate had left the dorm after throwing a fit about how he was hogging the television and robbing him of his drama time, to which seth completely ignores and that had probably set the other off.
but the game was getting boring, especially since he’s playing alone. he would’ve invited his roommate to a game or two (or ten) if he wasn’t such a shitty player, and there wasn’t anyone else in the level who he would classify ‘acquainted enough’ to be playing a video game with him.
then again, he’d refuse to sit through another three more hours without a good enough person to battle with. where’s the fun in twelve hours of straight gaming without some friendly competition?
grabbing his phone off his bed, he scrolls through his short contact list, looking for a potential candidate to play against him. “shitty player, shitty player, probably stoned.......” he mumbles to himself while scanning through the names in the list, thumb moving in an upward motion. oh, pause. he checks the digital time at the top of the screen. 1:36am. the ungodly hour would’ve robbed him of another three potentials. it’s only after five minutes when he finally stops at a particular name, before grinning to himself and pressing the ‘send a message’ option.
[ to : ivana ] hey [ to : ivana ] do u want to netflix n chill [ to : ivana ] except it’s not netflix but video games
with that, he tosses his phone aside before continuing his current game, cursing every now and then when he gets shot.
