Release Roundup - January 2016

The first month of 2016 has already come and gone. To kick off the new year we had a wonderful mixture of both photograph and illustration based wallpapers for you to choose from. Here’s what you may have missed this month...

Release Roundup - December 2015

Streamlined Offerings

Since the start of the site almost 5 years ago, we’ve tried to offer as many resolutions of wallpapers as we can. But as we’ve grown, we’ve found it more difficult to keep this up. It’s a bit much to ask artists to submit multiple resolutions of the same image and it’s a bit much for us to crop when they send us one size. 

Going forward, we’ll keep the same amount of offerings we have on Tablet and Mobile but going to streamline our desktop offering to just 3 resolutions (based on screen ratios)....

Included will be:

2880x1800 (widescreen - 16:10)

2560x1440 (widescreen - 16:9)

1600x1200 (standard - 4:3)

You’ll notice this change on today’s new offering and all past offerings as well...
