“Do you even have a house ?” Techno asked dream.
Dream looked over at his rival, something moved inside of him apon hearing that qeustion.
The memories flooded him. With being centuries old came centuries worth of storys, he didn’t always fully recall everything. The thoughts swirled in his head, of countless places he’s been and lived in.
A image echoed through the immortals memories. Of a small tourn down village, maybe hundred years old. The only lighting in the area was a campfire, quietly dancing through the night.
Next to the flame sat a young orphan boy, who’s smile was so soft and sweet it could melt anyones heart. The boy had red hair like the fire next to him and unwashed clothes fitting for the time period.
Robin, Dream thoughts reminded him.
Robin wasn’t alone, a man who’s eyes seemed dull on unfocused was standing by the fire aswel. He wore a filthy overal pants, a cat tail sticking out of it.
No matter how hard he tried, Dream couldn’t recall the mans name. Only knowing he felt important to him.
The man and child both had a familiar aurora around them. The warmth dream felt didn’t come from the campfire itself but from the people he once called family. They build a home together, countless years ago.
“I have a house” Dream replied.
He had a house, he had a home. Once he could feel the safety of having something to care for but that passed away a long time ago.
