Is it ok to use service dog patches on my DSSA/ESSA? [Thinking about using the term SSD]
I ordered a vest on Vinted and it came with 2 patches that say "Service Dog". I'm still unsure about putting them on my E/DSSA. I saw a lot of beings saying that using these kind of patches is morally wrong, as it mocks/offends owners of living service dogs. I'm not an owner of an actual, living service animal so I have no idea if it actually feels mocking.
I do not intend to mock anyone. This is why I'm asking about it. Also, it's not really a problem for me if it's not welcomed in the community - I can just paint over the patch and write something else :]
Please, share your thoughts, especially if you own a service dog.
