Yeah that’s all well and good until you think about how Nastya didn’t get to hear him say that. How she lived millennia with him, and wasn’t able to see the character growth that her brother had. How she went Out, and instead of trying to comfort her and bring her back, Jonny pushed her away, because that’s what he’s been doing his whole life, because that was how he kept himself safe. And how, at the very end, he brings the rest of his family closer, with not just the end of a bit ment to please their audience, but the end of him putting himself first. Because they are a team, crew and family. And Jonny can’t make the same mistakes again. Even though they will die, they’ll die knowing that they have each other. Which is something that Nastya never got.
