In regards to A flirting with others to test the MC, what if MC was prone to insecurity and low self-esteem? I can't imagine A would be particularly sensitive to MC's feelings

A finds it enjoyable to test people and see how they react to buttons being pressed. That being said, once they had seen how the MC reacted to them flirting with someone else and they'd realize that it would only make the MC feel bad rather than spur them on (is that the right way to put it?), they wouldn't find it a fun endeavor anymore either. They wouldn't knowingly continue make the MC feel insecure in regards to their relationship.

Writing Update 25/3 - 19

Chapter 13 is done. AAH!

Chapter 14 has much more exploring + potential discoveries about the world and characters, so it will probably take even longer to write, BUT since I’ve finished most of the work I need to do for next month already I’ll most likely have more time to write in April!

Only 2-3 chapters to go, a few more branching scenes in chapter 10 and additional stuff in chapter 7 and 9 to go and then the first draft of writing for TSS should be done~

I want to apologize for the lack of asks answered here as well; I’ve been quite busy and when I do have time I try to devote it to completing the book. I don’t want to give hasty answers. But I will try to get some out this week!

If it couldn't be avoided, would A sacrifice themself to save R?

I couldn’t answer that fully due to potential spoilers, but I can say this - A would be ready to do a lot for their family. It depends somewhat on how the relationship between A and R progresses in your individual playthrough, as the MC will have some opportunity to sway it one way or the other.

All that being said, the well-being of their family isn’t their ultimate goal.

They’d likely not do it with the MC again until the latter potentially changed their mind, haha. They’re very stubborn and really don’t like being ordered around like that.

I think R would get stuck stuttering what the hell the MC was on about and never actually get to that part, lmao. 

R isn’t the most experimental with that stuff, since they’re terribly awkward with so much as thinking about intimacy.

Oh god RIP my small soft crybaby mc thats super attracted to Azur... idk how (or even if its possible) they would even get along. My mc couldn't stand up for himself even if you paid him. He does try but he's just too kind and doesn't wanna hurt anyone. He is super loyal though so there's that.

I think A will take it upon themselves to urge your MC to be more independent, although not in the most, hrm, nice ways. I hope your MC lives through it; otherwise you’ve got M who will gladly stand up to A for him :>

Why would A flirt with someone more to test the MC?

Because A enjoys taking on challenges and challenging other people :) that’s one reason why they’re not shy to say exactly what they think or be harsh towards others. They’re not oblivious to upsetting people or pissing them off, but their way of thinking is like “if they are so sensitive and/or easily worked up, that’s something they need to work on themselves”. It’s an inner survival of the fittest kind of thing.

Regarding them testing the MC by having them get jealous; they would never seriously flirt with someone else, but they would have the MC think so just to see what they would do about it to be able to evaluate their personality, since A likes having people figured out. But it would also partly entertainment, because they’re just like that. And with “like that”, I mean hopelessly sadistic ;)
