4. What was your OC's childhood dream? Is that still their dream? If it has changed, why did it change and what's their new dream?
I think the only thing that mattered was that I had a company to go through everything together. This doesn't work very well when you're grown up. Everyone's goals and dreams drifted too far apart. Not sure what I'm dreaming about as of now. Mm... Being a better person? Proving that I'm good at what I'm doing? Does it still count as focusing too much on other people?..
See, I was very lucky to witness the history of aviation with my own eyes. Vague dreams about independence and strength got to find their place in what eventually became my career. I was fated to be a military pilot before I even knew that was a thing.
7. Where is your OC's family from? Does your OC feel a close connection to that place? Why or why not?
Technically, we were always from Bricksburg. Well, not Bricksburg City. But from a small town on the coast of Bricksburg land. If you were to visit it, though, you'd be surprised how much influence it had from Middle Zealand! Unique mix of their and local culture. Which is surprising, actually. There's a huge sea between these lands, and most of the history travelling was considered impossibe...
Sweet place. What else do you need for childhood other than grassy fields, seashore and endless skies above. I'm glad I got to grow up there, despite some... moments. Haven't been there in a long time, but maybe I'd love a short visit. I don't want to fill my head with too much old memories.
8. Were there expectations placed on your OC when they were growing up? Have they lived up to those expectations?
Naturally. Always the responsible one. Always making sure my brother is safe. Always watching the house when parents aren't home. I can't complain about that, though. Over time you learn to hold yourself up to higher standard. I didn't just live up to expectations, I excelled and overdid myself. You could say I was raised to be the captain... You just have to be one, you know, when you have to look after someone incapable of handling anything alone.
4. What was your OC's childhood dream? Is that still their dream? If it has changed, why did it change and what's their new dream?
Oh this question brought back some memories. I really liked cinematography at some point... At least when I was very little. Then I was told not everyone is born with enough creativity to direct entire movies. By this logic I came to conclusion that music must've been just for me then. Turns out you can convey as much through songs, if you're passionate enough! I went quite far with that one... You could say I got recognition of my skills and this was enough. Wishing for everyone to actually understand you is a whole separate story, and it's rather naive to dream about it.
5. What did your OC think their life would be like when they grew up? Has it lived up to that expectation?
I feel like if I met myself from the past, she'd be quite disappointed. But only because she expected too- much! And at the same time very little. Well, who didn't dream about being rich superstars when they were kids? Little do you know, it's sad way of living. Shallow and uninspiring. I'm glad I changed my mind and became more realistic. Yes, I stopped living a dream and started seeing the world for what it is. But it also opened my eyes on how real art and soul feel.
I'd say neutral, but I do celebrate it! It's nice! Good reminder to take a break and spend time with your love. And with everything being decorated with pink... it always reminds me of someone, you know? ~☆
It's been a while since I had a valentine... It's still sweet. Makes you think about all the love in the world! That some people get to have.
It's annoying at best. Cool, a love season. Does it celebrate the good, addresses the bad of it? Not really, it's just special day for dating. Does it include love that doesn't look all lovey-dovey? No? Okay, so not all love is even welcome. But you can utilize your own romantic relationship to bring your ass to a store and waste some money! Just like any other day, but gifts are overpriced now. Yoo-hoo.
What do YOU think about it? Did you know that this week in LoveInAir you can order two flight tickers for 60% of the original price! No? Don't miss your chance!
...okay, my job is done here. I can give you my personal opinion. It's. AMAZING! A whole season when everything is well-decorated with hearts and red. You don't even need a partner to enjoy it!
Black! It's mysterious and solemn... People assume a lot of things about you when you choose it, but little do they know, I'm enjoying it.
Color of what?.. Ah, well. It's hard to pick one. They're all good in certain contexts! But if you insist... Hm-m.
Yellow. Yeah..! Yellow. Like the sun.
Red is good.
Although it depends on how you look at it. Sometimes it's aggressive. Sometimes it's cheerful. Sometimes it's soft! I don't understand how we got to the latter personally... But it's a very rich and powerful color.
How interesting it sounds from this point of view, don't you think? Some will say these things are bad, and some will disagree. The duality, the depth! Which is sort of why Octan logo had to be redesigned to include green... It's about balance, which means everything is equally valuable!
Ah, Everything Is Awesome, I love this one! Makes me nostalgic. What a great time it was... I'm sorry, Catchy Song, but I may be biased at times :(
What..? What's this "Catchy Song"? See, how can you even compare these two. Everything Is Awesome is classic, it's demonstrating elite-level art of creating regular everyday songs. I wouldn't be surprised if Catchy Song took inspiration from it. Just a parody.
I think both are good! Both are catchy, but not too much. I'd put them on background for work. Well, I'll have to, now that they're stuck in my head...
What, they aren't even trying to hide it anymore that these songs are shallow catchy tunes made just for money? Now, if they made a song that was satire... Satire, but also good and listenable, I mean. That would be gold. Can't pick one for now. Not my style.
