I FEEL THIS 100% i find it really hard to play through inquisition when i'm not playing a lavellan & romancing solas bc i feel like it's just the way the story is???
im so glad im not alone aaa ! and yeah tbh i feel the same like the solas x inquisitor dynamic makes so much sense and it so intergral to the story it just seems weird for it to not be canon?? and i love how many options there are with the relationship from a creative perspective like??? does ur inquisitor love him?hate him? both??? is she gonna fuck him up in da4 or fuck him in da4??? OR BOTH??? so much potential its perf
@dual-daggers || because like I wouldn’t jump on that-
Noctis watched Ignis smile. He did not return the expression. Honestly, he asked a question, and Ignis did the same thing every time... not a deflection, but a round-about answer, something that neither assuaged Noctis’s concerns, nor fully answered his inquiry. So he was left doing just what he was good at: glaring at Ignis with a disgruntled half pout.
“I’m not talking about spiders.” ( even though they were gross, gross, horrifying and gross, and he’d totally not abandoned his bathroom for three days before Ignis killed that one really big one a couple of years back that had not happened he would deny it, Ignis, don’t tell anyone ). Noctis leaned up on his elbows, glaring at Ignis in the chair across the room. “It’s just weird. Like, everyone’s scared. How do you just will yourself like that?”
That wasn’t what he wanted to say. What he really wanted to say was stop that. Noctis was already not the best at reading people’s emotions half the time, and misinterpreted reading emotions another quarter of the time. So when Ignis proudly announced that he was good at essentially lying, Noctis was intimidated. And.... bothered? Yeah, there was no missing the twinge of irritation. How was he supposed to- to help? To whatever... if he couldn’t read him ( and from his own machination... )
@dual-daggers
When Ignis first woke up, Prompto was so relieved that he didn’t remember to be angry with him.
But it wasn’t long after that, that he found himself sitting beside the still recovering advisor. And the fear and confusion and all of it crept back in.
“Ignis,” he burst out, suddenly but not loudly. “What where you thinking? That ring coulda killed you!”
Some positivity for iignixs and duel-daggers, please. Gotta support my other Iggys.
Send me a url and I'll write some positivity for it.
@iignixs: Alright, I haven’t interacted with them a bunch, but Ferren is very nice! I love their idea of mage Ignis and him having to hide it from everyone! Also love the fact of Ignis’ bloodline having to go through tragedies!
@dual-daggers: I’m hella happy to see you back and roleplaying as Iggy!!!!! Like AAAAAA!! That happy! But yes! Even though we haven’t done a bunch yet either, I like how his Iggy and my Gladio are a lil sassy to each other. It’s great!
“Ignis, look at this.” He extended his palm carefully, and opened it, revealing an orange stone. It was rather shiny, and had many shades of yellow and red in it as well. “I found this while cleaning my equipment in the river. It might be amber, but I’m not sure. We could dangle it in front of Dino’s nose, and see if he can help us with something again.”
Even if it wasn’t amber, it was still a very pretty stone. Ignis could have it, it would look pretty around his neck.

AND THE SALT IN MY WOUNDS ISN’T BURNING ANYMORE THAN IT USED TO IT’S NOT THAT I DON’T FEEL THE PAIN IT’S JUST I’M NOT AFRAID OF HURTING ANYMORE
@dual-daggers continued from here because im awful
The pain he feels is indescribable. Just hours ago everything had been fine. It was unexplainable how Prompto could be talking to him, laughing with him just hours before and now he’s nothing. Where did he go? Noct sees the body, in fact he can’t look away, but he doesn’t know WHERE Prompto is.
Noctis wasn’t in control when he reacted the way he did, attacking Ignis. He was met with blind fury, confusion and disbelief and what came of it all was violence. He might have hurt Ignis, but he didn’t think it mattered. Ignis was there with Prompto, how could he not have protected him? If not for Gladio holding him back he’d do it again, kick Ignis while he’s down even.
It’s a good thing he can’t. His emotions are hitting him like waves. He finds he can’t even stand on his own anymore let alone attack Ignis. He slides to the ground in a heap, feeling Gladio’s grip on him relax once he knows he’s not a threat anymore. With what remaining strength he has he crawls over to Prompto, his vision blurring.
“Wake up. Prompto” There’s a sudden feeling that there’s a chance he could still be alive, maybe Ignis was wrong, maybe there was still time. The blood from the wound has stopped flowing though, and it’s not bright red anymore, but dark, almost black. “Please Prompto” His hands are saturated, red and shaking as he presses them to the wound. “come on” It’s just too much, he can feel nothing. There’s no heartbeat at all. He was foolish to think there could be.
“Ignis” He snarls, voice broken. Another wave of anger has hit him, but he can’t act on it, he can’t leave Prompto. “Why?” he wails. Ignis and Gladio are somewhere behind him, but he might as well be all alone now. A part of his soul was missing.
