Yes, the machine is on the road again, starting up their Euro leg last night. I must say I was disappointed reading the setlist, so I feel better about not spending thousands to go. My total Stones concerts is still holding at 115. I don’t feel cheated. ;-)
What Goes Around Comes Around
There was a fascinating segment on the radio this morning with Paul Williams, crime journalist, discussing the gangland bosses in Dublin. One such drug baron hired the Real IRA to take out a rival boss, which they duly did. Yer man then tried to renege on the deal and refused to hand over the agreed money. What kind of an eejit tries to cheat the Real IRA? Needless to say, the dead type as he was himself subsequently murdered by the same people he'd hired. Karma is indeed a bee-atch.
