The Ayuntamiento or Town Hall of Arcos de la Frontera, Spain, faces Plaza del Cabildo. Behind it is the Ducal Castle which was a Moorish fortress until 1264. It was renovated in the 14th and 15th centuries and is currently a private residence.

Calle Nueva was the moat of the Ducal Castle of Arcos de la Frontera, Spain, until the Lisbon earthquake knocked down the north wall in 1755 leading to the formation of this street.
