thinking about the fact that Coco never told anyone that it was Agott who pushed her to take the first test

so Qifrey, while very worried about her safety when he learned where she went, was also secretly proud of Coco for being so responsible about sneaking out, informing her fellow apprentices where she's going beforehand and taking tools that will come in handy, Qifrey at her age needed to be bullied by Olly into getting prepared for the trips outside

Coco and Qifrey are very alike in the way they shoulder the blame for their respective partner's actions 😭 -> Qifrey never tells Olly that it was his idea to do the mindwipe, and lets him 'believe' that Qifrey decided to do this all on his own [whether he actually does believe that is anybody's guess, but i suspect not]

but i do think Qifrey knows, just out of Agott's agitation and Coco's offer to her of the diadem, on some level that Coco would've needed help to get to the testing area-- because he never showed her what the Dadah Range looks like, nor even told her about the first test

whether he knows that Agott did it to get rid of Coco however... weeell.. -> but Agott is also a very moral person, i think if nothing happened she would snap and ask Qifrey why he hadn't punished her yet and... yk give herself up, so to speak. That's my personal hc, anyway, and her 'punishment' was that she had to wait for Coco to redraw her shoes
