hi! hope you don't mind me asking, but do you have any tips on writing hc!phil? he's gonna be in a fic i'm working on and i don't want to accidentally make him ooc if i can help it lol

I think there's a few important aspects to his character that you'd wanna focus on beyond the like. Typical phil cubito-ness. the first is hc!phil's relationship with time.

"hardcore Philza writing that rings true to me often has a really chill, almost meditative element, especially with regards to time and completing things. It doesn't really matter whether he finishes today, there's always tomorrow. He's not going to give up or get frustrated (redstone sometimes excluded lmao), he's not intimidated by the idea that something's going to take a lot of time or effort." @the-arctic-commune

I'll be paraphrasing some of my other friends who contributed (thank u ty, xeph, rakk, and talon!!), but i felt like this quote is a standout in terms of how hardcore phil operates...there's no real end date to his story barring some accidental disaster that will cut his life short. he's free to take his time and lose time entirely as he works on his projects. ccphil before has spoken about (and implied today with the qphil lore) that being in hardcore causes some time dilation issues - what seemed like a week to the crows was Weeks upon Weeks in hardcore time. but for hc!phil, that time passes all the same, and it's not really a stressful thing within hardcore. the time is gonna pass all the same.

also, hardcore!phil is an archeologist. within the canon as it's currently establish, hc!phil isn't the one building those big projects. he's uncovering them as he moves through the world, maybe you could view it as restoring them, but he spends his time uncovering the histories of the deities and what happened before he arrived in this world. he views the world as something beautiful to be observed rather than something he's creating, if that makes sense.

aaaand also hardcore phil is easily the most carefree of his cubitos. he's still got plenty of classic phil anxiety and wouldn't take unnecessary risks, but he's the only living thing he has to keep track of in this world. this enables him to be a bit more of a bastard than other worlds - the most likely to "coo at an animal and then kill it to laugh at the crows" in the words of @manmadesunshine lol.

and he's also the most carefree because he's able to fly, of course. you can't ever forget the flying <3

any other hc!phil loreheads r more than welcome to add on!!! but i hope this gives someee subtle flavoring to ur hc!phil writing!

If you could plan a themed section for Scarland what would the theming be and what would the layout look like?

SO. I think it has to be storybook themed (assuming I can't just, STEAL an existing concept) because two of my favorite existing rides at Disney are It's A Small World and the Storybook Land Canal boats. I just LOVE the love and detail put into the dolls and miniatures for these and I feel like there's a lot you could do with a vague storybook/folklore/imagination theme. I'd want to keep it vague so it doesn't come across too much like discount Disney properties (Cinderella, Snow White)

I'm thinking fairies, ogres, elves, giants. There are fairy houses in the little closed off greenery areas, LOTS of forced perspective with some of the rides. The goal should be to make the guests feel like visitors to a realm that wans't necessarily built for them in mind, ie things too big or too small in places. Maybe divide the area in a gradient of small forced perspective to large forced perspective?

Maybe a ride where you're supposed to be a tiny fairy on a VERY Chaotic flight through the brush, that would be a very cool thrill ride. Because faires deserve to be cool and epic okay. Maybe a boatride through a town, like you're being swept out to sea by a storm… kind of like Ratatouille or Arriety type vibe.

THEN normal sized areas, and there's gotta be a mermaid ride. I have. NO ideas for that LOL. Maybe a show? I feel like you could do a fun theatre show with that and every land DOES gotta have a theatre show. There has to be a delightful cafe somewhere, just generally forest themed. Lots of fun pasteries and warm drinks, maybe boba?

This area would have THE most bomb character walk around shows, the kind that just kind of happen sometimes in the middle of things. Little duels and quests. Nothing TOO ren-faire, but yknow. Gotta have a good duel in the fairytale/storybook area. knights, perhaps?

Making the guests feel Small (like being in a realm of giants) is a lot harder I think and I'm not sure how I'd approach that TBH!! it might be limited to just one ride/attraction? MAYBE a tower of terror style frogger ride based on jack and the giant beanstock? that could slay i think

Hello Sunny if you could put Bdubs into any one ML episode which one would it be and how would he react?

I thought this would be a hard question but the answer is sosososososososo easy and I'm thrilled you asked. I would, of course, put him in Sandboy, and he would not wake up throughout the entire course of it, because his biggest fear is not getting a good night's sleep. Rather, he would sleepwalk, and he would constantly appear in the background of various scenes in places he absolutely should not be.

Post-end card, there's a scene where we see him wake up in the morning and check his sleep app, and when he sees he got "Fitful Sleep," he starts screaming crying etc.
