“I’m Tango. Of the Tek variety,” the guy adds, as if there’s another, more common kind of Tango to be. “Redstoner, professional fixer of other people’s problems.”
Impulse huffs, a puff of smoke making its way out at the same time. “Impulse. Of the, uhh… S Variety?” He parses through his skills, comparing them to the Main Skillsets. He’s not a builder, that’s for sure. And he hasn’t had much time to explore all the places he’s been. “Villager tamer and redstoner, I guess.”
“Nice. What’s the S Variety, the silly variety?”
Impulse definitely doesn’t think of the way Skizz’s golden tail wags incessantly, the way he looks when he wants Impulse to join in the fun, the goofy tilt of his head and the lilt to his giggle. “Something like that.”
(When the kingmaker and his king get out of hand, Impulse must recall an old friend and try to mend their relationship to save Hermitcraft.)

Note from Submitter: This is One of my Absolute Favorites - it's so good with such excellent lore and it only gets more and more intriguing every chapter!!! It deals so well with the dynamic between Impulse and Skizz with their history and long separation, and how that affects their reunion, all in a conflict and with such stellar worldbuilding... I loved every moment of this fic!!!
