just thinking abt yoshiki's dad saying that when hikaru's dad died "it felt like everything good in the village died with him" and again going back to the title and hikaru's name meaning 'light' so the title can both refer to obviously hikaru's death but also. yoshiki and hikaru are extensions of their parents in more ways than one including their unresolved feelings for each other and Hikaru having to carry the family 'sin' he inherited from his dad and taking his place after he was gone and now he died as well and with that the light is extinguished....the summer the light died....the indous are gone and it died with him
