"The only thing Tails could do at that moment was look around, his head barely moved while his eyes went back and forth rapidly. He could still hear the others behind him as they either walked around the beach or huddled near the shabby, makeshift plant tent they made; he didn't try to turn around as he slowly walked towards the water. The light spray of the ocean waves hit his face, bringing a sting to his eyes, but he ignored it. His shoes sank into the sand with each step he took, making him force his legs up more to get them out. The waves finally hit his legs, the cold water and grains of sand moving against them and being absorbed into his socks and shoes, but he ignored the uncomfortable feeling, only choosing to continue staring out. The sky was gray and cloudy, as if a storm could be on top of them in minutes. The clouds barely let any sunlight through them, looking like when you put a thick blanket over your head and see light from the outside trying to get through it. The air and wind felt cold, colder now that he was ankle deep in water. Someone called his name now. He couldn't tell who it was. All he wanted was to wake up, wake up, and let it all be a bad nightmare. But this was reality, a reality they were trapped in. They were on their own."
After a festive night with their friends and families, the youngest members of the Sonic cast suddenly wake up the next day to find themselves alone, far from home, in a deserted island they don’t recognize or even have the slightest clue as to how they got there.
The only thing they have is their wits, knowledge of what they were taught, the clothes on their backs, semi-survival skills that could help them survive until next week and the company of one another.
Only time will tell when this mystery can be fully solved, but which outcome will come first, solving this seemingly impossible puzzle or losing their hope that they can ever be rescued?
