دودی پت سر جھیل : جس کی خوبصورتی دنگ کر دیتی ہے

پاکستان میں بہت سے ایسے مقامات ہیں جن کی خوبصورتی دنگ کر دیتی ہے۔ پہاڑوں کے دامن میں واقع جھیلوں میں ایک عجب کشش پائی جاتی ہے۔ کچھ لوگوں کی سیاحت میں ترجیح جھیلیں ہوتی ہیں اور وہ صرف انہیں کو دیکھنے کے لیے سفر کرتے ہیں۔ دودی پت سر بھی ایسی ہی ایک جھیل ہے جو خیبرپختون خوا کے ضلع مانسہرہ میں وادیٔ کاغان کے انتہائی شمال میں واقع ہے۔ اس جھیل کے گرد چوٹیاں بالخصوص موسم سرما میں برف سے ڈھکی رہتی ہیں۔ مقامی زبان میں دودی کا مطلب سفید، پت کا مطلب پہاڑ اور سر کا جھیل ہے۔ اردگرد موجود چوٹیوں پر سفید برف کی وجہ سے اسے یہ نام دیا گیا ہے کیونکہ انہیں کا عکس اس کے پانیوں میں جھلکتا ہے۔ گرمیوں میں اس کا ٹھنڈا پانی بالکل شفاف دکھائی دیتا ہے۔ 

یہ سطح سمندر سے تقریباً 3800 میٹر بلند ہے۔ جھیل میں ٹراؤٹ مچھلی بھی پائی جاتی ہے۔ اس جھیل اور آس پاس کے علاقوں میں جون سے ستمبر کے درمیان جانا خوشگوار تجربہ ثابت ہوتا ہے۔ موسم گرما کے شفاف پانیوں کا نظارہ کرنے کے لیے دور دور سے سیاح آتے ہیں۔ یہ جھیل ’’لالو سار دودی پت سر نیشنل پارک‘‘ کا حصہ ہے ۔ حیاتیات و نباتات کو محفوظ رکھنے کے لیے یہ پارک 2003ء میں قائم کیا گیا۔ اس کا نام دو جھیلوں کے نام پر رکھا گیا ہے۔ لالو سار بھی ایک جھیل ہے جو اس نیشنل پارک کا حصہ ہے۔ اس پارک میں پائی جانے والی جنگلی حیات میں برفانی چیتا، سیاہ ریچھ، مارموٹ، نیولا، جنگلی بِلا، ہمالیائی برفانی مرغ اور برفانی چکور شامل ہیں۔ نیز یہاں مختلف طرح کی مفید جڑی بوٹیاں بھی پائی جاتی ہیں۔ زیادہ تر جڑی بوٹیاں وہ ہیں جو صرف بالائی علاقوں میں پھلتی پھولتی ہیں۔
