I enjoy creating sigils for two main reasons:

1. They’re inexpensive! If you’re low on funds and can’t afford more witchy ingredients, you only need a writing tool and paper. You can also write your sigils on cheap items like bay leaves or candles.

2. They feel like a fun art project! As an artsy person, I love doing my sigils very free-form; with a bit of structure and a lot of intuition & imagination.

Here’s images from my grimoire (well one of them lol) showing off my favorite method. You can also use your leftover letters and connect them using a sigil forge, like the one you see below:

I’ve also seen some people make a sigil forge using just the letters they have leftover, so if that feels right for you, go for it!

Travel from one letter to the next in whatever order feels right to you! Feel free to redraw until it just feels right for you. (BTW sorry if my drawings suck, doing this on my phone and apparently this is where my art skills end lmao)

Add random designs to season your sigil with some flair! You can get funky and silly - whatever resonates with you is typically what works best!

You can also assign each letter to a number and do the following:

I’ve never seen anyone use a heart-shaped grid like I did here, it’s usually a circle or square. However, I had the fun idea of making a heart grid specifically for a sigil to visit my spirit guide, Miss Anita, in the ~dream world~. I haven’t completed tat one yet, but just wanted to show how flexible sigil creation can be.

I don’t usually like to share the sigils I create and the overall sigilwork that I do personally for myself but I like this one and i’m proud that i’m using my practice to better myself and my life.

my day-to-day will soon become more monotonous and stressful with this new job and I know that by making this sigil, which I will not be saying what it is exactly for, I can help those aspects of my life.

Sigil Card Oracle Deck

I recently created a deck of cards to use as a tool for divination. Since I got so much love and so many kind words on my original post about it and since it's become a daily part of my life, I figured I would make transparent pngs of each of the sigil cards I created. I though this would be cute, and also useful because I've also made it a habit to post which card I draw daily so this will be a much more efficient way for me to share which sigil card I draw each day! Feel free to put these to your own uses; no need to tag me or anything but I would love to see how they would even be utilized because I can't think of what someone could use them for other than my own specific purpose. But yeah, here they are!

That's it! All 19 cards, minus the Joker which is kind of an inside joke for myself. I hope you like them!

Today’s sigil card: Peace & Unity

Today’s sigil card(s): Bounce it Back & I am Present.

Decided to pull two today, it just felt right.

The All-Living knew I needed to be mindful of both of these, especially today with everything I have going on and all the people I’ll be around later tonight. Lots of crazy energies are gonna in the mix for sure and it was a good reminder to me today of all days to be wary of those individuals and not let their negative energies get to me.

I definitely also needed the reminder to be present in the small moments of today; i’m reading a book again for the first time in maybe a year and I want to take the time out of my day to sit quietly and genuinely enjoy that reading time.

Sitting with myself in the quiet is something I’ve been trying to do more often as well and I feel that this was The All-Living’s way of reminding me to keep cultivating that quiet, rejuvenating time.

Today’s mini sigil card: Creativity and Fun

This is my finished miniature oracle deck! It’s made purely from sigils, and that was a very purposeful decision. I wanted something small and easily referenced; just one card to pull every morning to see what the day will bring, or if pulled upside down, what it will be missing. It can tell me what sigil to wear that day or what to be on the lookout for. So it’s nothing fancy, just a fun idea I had and went for it.

Sigilwork is by far my favourite way to do magick other than kitchen witchcraft and it brings me a lot of joy. I didn’t use any of my personal sigils on these cards just because I wanted something I could throw together within the last two days, but in the future I plan to remake this deck or make a normal sized one complete with all personalised sigils.

I absolutely love art and I always have so that will be a joy to do. and if any of y’all have been considering making your own oracle decks or means of divination, I say go for it! I had a great time and I feel like I’ve made something that i’ll get some true use out of and something that i’m proud of.

But yeah! I just wanted to share it and since I didn’t use any of my personal sigils, i’m not afraid to share the full pictures of each card. the backs are nothing special, just some swirls to represent each card’s energy. Let me know what you think and I might be occasionally sharing what card I pull each day.

refreshed a spell I did a while back welcoming abundance and wealth into my life; this might be “controversial” but if I feel a spell hasn’t fully completed its purpose or, like I said, needs a refresh I have no problem emptying and redoing or just changing some stuff up in my spell jar. and that’s what I did today, just redid the whole jar, its contents, and made myself a new sigil to reactivate the spell. It was fun, witchy, and it made me feel like the spell was actually serving its purpose.

I also started making my first ever oracle deck, which is fun. i’m using some mini playing cards I found around the house and I’ve only made a few so far but i’m excited to see where it goes and start to use it.

but yeah! that’s all, just wanted to make sure everything magick-wise was prepared and ready for this exciting new year of 2026. and I know it may not be exciting to everyone, but hey I wasn’t even feeling positively about it at all until I reframed it. I started thinking about everything I could do instead of everything that could go wrong, and now i’m determined to make all the things I want to be reality into real life this year, and i’m certain I can do it. but yeah, again I digress. I hope you all had a great new year and new year’s day and that we all start the year off strong.
