Is it a coincidence that the LDS Extra Deck representatives all used Duel Terminal archetypes or was that on purpose?

Intentional I think?

Like. It can't be proven outright, but ARC-V, especially early on, was doing a lot of "Yu-Gi-Oh! is out of the wilderness and we're bigger and better than ever", and to help with that, they chose like 3 Tournament or close to Tournament tier Decks to emphasize Masumi, Yaiba and Hokuto being elites at LDS.

And it was probably to tie in with the fact that Yu-Gi-Oh! was starting a new Duel Terminal storyline in DUEA onwards.

Basically good cross promotion and fan service, and it was sort of done also to set up Reiji's competency with "He's the guy above these three who use Decks you know are good and were big deals during 5D's and ZEXAL!"

Why does "Revealer of the Ice Barrier" only summon Tuners even though Noellia was against using the Ice Barrier Dragons? Meanwhile "Judge of the Ice Barrier" has no effect that supports the dragons despite being in favor of releasing them, and instead is given (bad) effects to counter Steelswarms despite her dying to them in canon?

Honestly, I don't know. Valuable Book EX doesn't say anything other than mostly reiterating the Duel Terminal Master Guide.

Maybe her natural talent was in summoning things, despite her opposition to the Ice Dragons, and is meant to foreshadow her studies into what became Gishki.

Judge, I guess it's that "She at least tried".

Ice Barrier is a theme that tends to be a bit of a headache and I honestly wonder how much effects and lore are meant to correspond these days.
