dumb of ass. NOT pure of heart. ass of hole.
I’m watching early seasons M*A*S*H again, and in Henry, Please Come Home (S1 EP9), in the scene where they’re plotting on how to get rid of Frank, there’s a southern brunette man hanging out with them. I don’t know if he’s ever named (he’s in some scenes earlier playing poker), but I’m wondering if he’s supposed to be Duke.
If so, the claim that they completely forgot the guy wouldn’t totally be true. (In all fairness, they did offhandedly mention him in a later episode. I think it was Life with Father)

I may have been messing around with those barbie things a bit.
In order: Trapper John, Hawkeye, Duke, Margaret, Henry, Lt. Dish, Painless Pole
Tried drawing Hawkeye and Duke from their descriptions in the book
why does no one ever talk about the scene in the MASH novel where duke and hawkeye dress trapper up like jesus and strap him to a cross and then dangle the cross from a helicopter and fly him around
