well as stated previously bman never abused his kids. sure, he was dumb sometimes and could be a jerk. he didn't like being wrong and had no idea how to have emotions. but he cared about us.

second, i think I've complained about this before but people think I'm the "normal one". im usually the straight man in fancontent and ??? hello???? did you READ my comics??? im just as weird as the rest of em, im just (somewhat) more subtle about it. like, yeah at first it took me a bit to adjust to their system but man stop trying to make me boring.

cannon nicknames!!

well. the bats gave each other a lot of nicknames. i think jason was the first person to give me a proper nickname (it mightve been narrows??), opening the metaphorical floodgates. its kinda funny, we only use our actual names if were having a Serious Discussion:tm:. or if youre damian.

damian just called me thomas, though i think he was getting closer to using my first name. idk, i feel like we got along the easiest.

so my nicknames... lets see. nightlight, shrimp, narrows, daw, sunshine, perfect child, sunny, bruces favourite who can do no wrong, dayshift, mothman, tommy, lantern, flashlight.. those are just the ones i can list off the top of my head. the list goes on.

barring the obvious things that is really not my place to comment on (thats jasons villian arc, not mine), he is CONVINCED that i am some sort of INNOCENT GOLDEN CHILD.

which on one hand means i can get away with shit more than anyone else (common tim L). i could probably kill a man in cold blood (i grow closer every day) and hed blame jason or something. which, lmao, but also. hello?

on the other hand it is also DETRIMENTAL to my reputation and UNDERVALUING all the HARD WORK i put into causing problems on purpose. i literally joined an uprising before he took me under his (night)wing.

i am working as hard as anyone else in this household and i deserve to be RESPECTED💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿🗣🗣

so idk if this really counts as a cannon pilf but ill stoll throw in my two cents

so i think one of the worst things about joining the waynes was the fucking adults. EVERY TIME i go on social media and some celebrity gossip comes up SOMEONE is talking about how bruce and my older siblings are attractive. traumatizing. especially in the vigilante fandom spaces my GOD they were DEGENERATES. absolutely horrendous. i tried so hard to avoid the hornyposting but it was everywhere. one of the dangers of fucking around in the batfan spaces.

cannon disabilities wahoo!!!!!

so asides from the obvious ptsd and anxiety and whatever else i had wrong with me brain (the diagnostic criteria for bpd look hella sus but i do not see it), i also had SEVERE migranes. idk if it was my powers or what but my head would randomly b like "fuck you" and id suffer. i never really complained to the others (i didn't want to be looked down on or a burden yadda yadda) but it SUCKED major ASS.

also.. top secrets but all of us had some sort of mental issues and chronic pain. like b had a bad back from when he broke it a few years back, jasons fingers were permanently messed up, dick's joints ached sometimes, etc etc. it got real bad with shitty weather for them, a lot of the times they struggled to go out in the costume bc of the pain. one time jason suggested i go out as batman when b was stuck in bed. horrible idea. also i dont think he processed how different i look to b. like sorry that man is WHITE. i feel like if bman suddenly turned black people would notice. idk could just be me.
