*context- Our party’s half orc character got attacked by the feeble mind spell. A new NPC cleric entered to help*

DM- “So you see a lady in a Gothic Victorian dress approach you*

Half orc- “Arooo?”

DM- “she’s much shorter than you”

Half orc- *drops head to chest* “Ar-ooo...” ;)

Family traits

*context- Our party took down a gang of serial murders, and while in their lair we found a jar of eyes with a family name on them. Our cleric has located the family of the murdered boy, and tells them what has happened*

Cleric- “I’m sorry, but this is all that is left of your son”

*he shows them the jar*

Cleric- “Although now I do see where he got his eyes”

*Context- Our Triton Bard loves to wear purple fishnets, we just got into a fight, after said fight the DM described how tattered our clothes are” 

Bard- “Aw does that mean I ripped my fishnets again? Oh well guess I’m emo now”

Cleric- “You’re Nemo now”

cue giggles from the bard for the next 5 minutes

*context- our party was getting different teas and drinks and such*

Ranger- “Can I get some Red Minotaur?”

We’re Terrible Really

*context- Our party was attacked and fought with magic in an anti-magic city. During the battle one of our teammates has fallen and so we must get help without drawing attention to us. A NPC from the fallen members’ background has appeared to help us*

NPC- “I know who you all are. I have been following your group for some time now”

Bard- *dead serious* “I’m sorry”

Scavenging Dragon Parts

*Context- “After taking down a dragon we were taking all the parts we want, our Rogue was trying to remove the horns

DM- “how much of the horn do you want to remove [Rogue]?”  

Druid- “Just the tip”

Useless Items

*Context- our rouge just bought a box of random useless magic items, one of the items if a clam wand that produces up to 50 clams per day.* 

Rogue- “Now we can have fish dinner!” 

Bard- (who’s a Triton) “I’m offended!!!”

Ranger- “O-fin-ded” 

The whole table laughed, even bard broke character by laughing

*context- we’re about to confront a serial killer, we made it to a hide out of his when we realize we don’t have an exit strategy*

Runechild- “if we can hide for one minute, I can get us out of here.”

Warforged- “yeah I can punch someone for a minute”
