yeah i haven't watched any of those vids because idk lachlan but like........ i'd expect better from him??? it doesn't even fit his style or whatever, so it's like extra pathetic and gross that he's so desperate for more views he'll do it. like, he lives fine off his youtube money right now, he doesn't have to lose all his integrity trying to promo his side channel here

but yeah idk he could go with ANY OTHER CHARACTER IN THE THUMBNAILS. maybe like, the ones they actually play. maybe the female characters at least in a powerful stance or as they appear in the game. but nah, let's go purposely looking for the hugest tits and post that instead. fuck my female fans, fuck my easily influenced young fans, because tits and money. men are all the fucking same i swear.

[1] i took a quick glance at his channel out of curiosity and it looks like he's uploading other games, so he might be expanding his brand or he just got bored of MC. i don't follow ryan at all though so i have no clue if this is a new thing.

[2] and ia about TP being TC 2.0 but i lacked a better name for post-adam TC lmao. i wish mitch would focus on himself instead of continuing to take part in these weird cliques that only end in failure and/or flames. he seems pretty buisness oriented so i have no idea why he hasn't thought to just fly solo for a bit.

[3] despite mat & the others supposedly not being cool enough for the pack, they look a hell of a lot better on paper than mitch just because they know when to stick to themselves. even though i'm annoyed at the lack of inclusion, they're dodging a bullet lbr.

i guess ryan expanding out puts him weirdly at odds with the others. or at least with mitch/jerome, given that he's not even friends with the rest and the rest of em do non-mc anyway. its strange because as much as mitch has branched out a tiny bit, he still seems really resistant and i don't know why. i feel like he's losing direction with the channel or something, or just lost whatever his driving force behind it was idk

post-adam TC tho as a title amuses me, it's like fucking BC and AD over here, except it's before cuntbag and after dickface or something. yknow. not that TC 1.2/3/4/etc was that good anyway, because jerome was still there, ryan was the worst addition NA and ian is STILL A FUCKFACE AND I WON'T LET ANYONE FORGET THIS.

but yeah idk, the clique shit is annoying. i get that the target demographic here is young and easily manipulated, and thus its probably easier to NOT explain new things and just let them either miss it completely, or deal with it in their own way. but as an older fan and thus the minority, i just wish there was SOMETHING. i said this on one of mitch's videos (i normally wouldn't comment, but he was answering comments before so i tried) but like, we have a right to be skeptical. look at how badly TC turned out, and look at how mitch fans really had to/felt like they had to go into overdrive to defend him and justify their liking of him. i don't really think mitch did much WRONG in TC, but it still all got blamed on him and that's something we ALL went through, even just as fans.

so like, i have a reason to be doubtful of a new clique thing, even when it's a group of people who have been friends for a long time and seem to get along well. TC ppl weren't friends THAT long, at least not in relation to mitch, but like, they seemed fucking fine and dandy at first too. and given rob's.... strong personality on some issues, and mitch's lack of taking bullshit, and jerome's lack of a spine or any sense of loyalty, i can foresee problems arising with them. even with the HTM issue with mat, i have no doubt in my mind that 90% of the problem came from rob alone, and that he was the one angry and the one doing the whitelisting. tbh, i don't think mitch would give 2 shits about it, and most of them probably wouldn't go so far as to kick mat out. it's clear they're different people and take things at varying levels of serious. 

but the thing is, without them explaining ANYTHING, i don't even know if i SHOULD be concerned. if "the pack" is just a title for convenience's sake and not much else, then maybe the differing personalities won't matter any more than they already do. but if the pack is going to be a larger brand they operate UNDER, it matters. will it really be TC 2.0 with sharing signing booths at cons and selling group merch and trying to create one fandom, or nah??? i need to know, and given the multiple instances of drama and dumb bullshit surrounding mitch, i really feel fans DESERVE to know. but their target demographic and general audience are young kids, probably more boys than girls, and they just do shit and expect nobody to notice or call it out or bring it to attention.

and really, this clique shit is annoying as fuck. mc youtube is ALREADY cliquey enough, even before adam vs mitch became such a big thing. whether it's big name channels vs small ones, swearing vs not-swearing, minigames vs long series', whatever. look at y*gscast, look at what TC was, look at any group of ppl with a collective name who play mc. they're ALL cliques. and even with youtubers i'm familiar with, there's like hot&spicy group, PMO group, bod*l and his friends, littlel*zard ppl and their friends, etc. they're all loosely connected but it's still cliquey. which i get because that's what humans do but jfc, don't put a NAME on a clique and try to act like it's a good thing. i said this in a dif post but building that kind of brand loyalty and competition is NOT what you should be going for in this kind of industry. all the big youtubers/youtube companies i follow emphasis community, not only with their fans but others' fans. "the pack", as well as TC and other similar groups, just creates this mentality of "well group a > group b" or whatever. it's asinine, and breeds the exact kind of fans i'm sure they bitch about behind closed doors.

mostly on a personal level, it's annoying to be forced to deal with youtubers i don't like. especially when it comes to mitch, he does not do nearly enough solo content, and the only time he does 2-ppl-only content is with jerome basically. mitch tries so hard to make jerome complimentary good #1, and the pack is just a collection of complimentary goods, but forcing me to believe that isn't going to work and just makes me frustrated. idk if that even makes sense. i've been a fan of mitch for a long time, since merome was just a tiny whisper on tumblr, and seeing it become the absolute monster it is now has been hell. you literally cannot survive as a mitch fan if you don't like jerome. i at least thought that outside of most hunger games and mitch's series with jerome i was safe, but now jerome is in the pack when he really has NO RIGHT to be in it, and i can't avoid him. and like i said, the complimentary goods thing never worked. but trust me, there's plenty of substitute goods/channels i can find for mitch, if it comes to a point i can't stand.

plus like, why the fuck is mat not there. don't even try to tell me mat would've said no if they offered, given that mat STILL considers mitch one of his best friends despite continuous fuckery, and even in the height of the jerome&mitch hype post-asf, he was saying he misses jerome. how are they gonna put some fuckboy like lachlan (honestly i'm too white to say fuckboy but i don't know how else to EXPLAIN that kid) in a group over mat who has been there forever? i've said it 100 fucking times but i'll say it again, it was mat&mitch and duplicity before merome was ever even THOUGHT OF, and it makes me so angry that idk, he's not famous or good enough for them, and yet jerome can be fucking HANGING OUT AND BEING BUDDY BUDDY WITH THE GUY WHO HAS SINGLE-HANDEDLY USED HIS MASSIVE UNDESERVED AMOUNTS OF POWER TO TRY TO DAMAGE MITCH'S REPUTATION AND ULTIMATELY HIS ENTIRE CHANNEL and he still gets an invite.

i'm glad you noticed the sidebar thing too because it was rubbing me the wrong way. i get that mat doesn't take it as seriously~ as the others do, but he's still your friend wtf? and it's especially annoying to me now because it's not like his channel sits there for months w/o videos like it used to, he's trying to grow and that's when they decide it's time to cut him out? k.

yeah idk some people could argue it's a minor thing, but it's still a purposeful action. like post-tc when mitch took adam out and moved the rest to the bottom and mat was pretty high, that was all purposeful. it wasnt a matter of taking just one person out, but moving people. rob (and preston, i noticed, tho idk if preston ever had mat in his sidebar and im too lazy to check rn) changed their sidebar thing to "the pack" and put the same few people in, mat not included. 

like why now to start some dumb clique with an official name? did TC show you nothing about how bad that can be? i mean, this group actually records with each other, which is an improvement. but even still, mat records with that group more than jerome seems to. but then jerome has the millions of subs so that's where that motivation is coming from.

like i can't tell if it's a "we don't want you in our group" thing, or a "you're not popular enough" thing, yknow? because let's be real, recording with mitch or jerome benefits rob/vikk/preston more than recording with mat, any damn day. but like, he's your goddamn friend and has been for years, and they still seemingly hang out and play dota and whatever, so what's the deal?

i feel like back in the day (and maybe now too) it's a matter of mat ~not taking it seriously enough~ but like, he posts frequent videos and has a consistent intro which is more than you can say for some people in that group and generally just does what he can? like at what point do you stop being like 'ugh he's not working on the same level us' and maybe stop to think, 'maybe he needs our help getting things settled the way we have it'. like before this semester (not sure what will happen after this one), he was doing school at the same time as this, which NONE of them did. like sorry your friend is trying to get an education so he has a plan b but that's not a reason to disregard him as not serious enough to a job that he still clearly likes enough to do and put effort it. 

alternatively tho i have also noticed mat branching out too? like bodil's awful little clique and the yoshi/hugh guy and stuff? and log, on some level, which i love. idk. i just can't wrap my head around rob specifically because he plays so nice, so sweet, so "omg i love everyone let me snuggle you", but then he does this other shit behind the scenes and its like.... your job isn't THAT serious that you need to be so cutthroat. it's really not. 

i just feel like that whole clique is all sunshine and flowers with each other, and then its all business with certain other people. like, they can be chill with mat in any other context but when it's recording they act like they're goddamn babysitting him or something. idek. im bitter.

but yeah i've said it a million times and i'll say it again. for everyone still defending adam or being like "omg they should make up": if you meet one asshole, they're an asshole. if everyone you meet is assholes, you're the asshole. adam is the goddamn asshole.
