A little peek on what games I might be covering in my new to-come text commentary videos:
Dumb Crow’s Tetris Blast is a simple game where the player gets rid of tetris blocks in levels by blowing them up with bombs. Sounds easy, but flying Wood-Stocks with wings can and will make sure the player is having a tough time. Rumor has it though that “Dumb Crow’s Tetris Blast” originally started out as an entirely different game...
Dumb Crow’s Bomb Blast(misspelled “Dumb Crow Bomb Blast” on the title screen) is a game where the player blasts his way through levels filled with rock boulders all the while avoiding incoming bomb attacks from Wood-Stocks who are standing out of reach. The main goal is to destroy the castles they’ve built in each world, and taking down their leader King Wood-Stock in order to bring back peace to the Dumb-Crow Village.
A little side project simply titled “Croc Remake”. After two years of development off and on the project had to be cancelled to pave way for new ideas.
This one’s never been talked about before, simply because almost nobody besides myself has known about this game (and probably those who had the chance to try it out at school, which has been yeears ago by now). Its development was a bit troubled, mainly due to certain gameplay features not simply working out, and my at-the-time inexperience with GameMaker in general.
There’s earlier prototypes of the above games as well. However, those will be covered a bit later on. Better not reveal stuff like this too soon.
