Tier 6 of the Dummybots/ Dummy Cogs! We have The Whiz & his associate File Clerk

Theyre based off of install wizards, filing cabinets and tons and tons of paperwork! more stuff about design choices and name choices under the cut!

The Whiz: a person who is extremely clever at something.

two words. cone wizard! This guy lives for the sole purpose because i said "there should be a cog who is a wizard and have a cone hat". he also has a paper receipt beard. i made his suit shaped more like a wizard robes as well and gave him those gear eyes. theyre not very toony but... i think theyre soooo cooool. and the 8 ball... well i

File Clerk: a person who organizes and files certain company documents and records like invoices, receipts and forms.

design wise, i made this design first. i wanted him to be a foil to the desk jockey. if the desk jockey is the pens, radio and lamp and the other stuff you see on a desk. this guy is a file cabinet that goes with a desk! hes full of receipts and his head is dented from all those drop gags being thrown at him..

Tier 7 Suck Up + Specialist Chair Warmer (with Tier 8 making its appearance! Trash Mouth) more stuff about design choices and name choices under the cut!

They're based off of office chairs, paper/plastic straws and office desk bins!

Suck-Up: to behave obsequiously, especially for one's own advantage.

You can't get anywhere without being a bit of a suck up! that's why they're (almost) at the top. I always imagined the toons had HUGE comically giant straws (its funny) and a few got sacrificed making this one. very "what the sneef im snorfing here"

Chair Warmer: an officeholder, employee, or the like, who accomplishes little, esp. a person who holds an interim position.

Chair warmer is actually the cog I made at the same time as file clerk, (tier 5) those two actually kickstarted this whole project. (it started as making specialist cogs to go with desk jockey using the other body types.) so it has a lot of mish-mash elements like a desk jockey. and to complete the desk jockey "set". Desk Jockey being the desk, Chairwarmer being the chair and File Clerk being the cabinets! It's also heavily based of off real chairwarmers, which honestly looks like they stuck grills into the chair. it doesnt look comfy but somebody who sits on a chair all day might like em!

Trash Mouth : someone who habitually uses offensive, vulgar, or rude language.

Theres not much in here that's all business, i guess words can hurt and these words hurt ALOT! I like the idea of a cog thats full of wasted paper. (its very inline of their pro-pollution/pro-waste sort of thing thats going on in ttcc) but this one is a bad idea waiting to happen lol..

i think this one should have a special attack thats like Filibuster or like Buzz word, or like jargon. but its like the swearing attack. idk its like called like bad word or like (insert censorship) but you get attacked by like the cartoony censorship symbols

More Dummybots / Dummy Cogs!

At tier three we have these two: White Collar & Associate Specialist: Rabble-Rouser!

Inspired by Cog Buildings, Noisy folks and everyday appliances. Design notes and name choice rambling under the cut!

White Collar: A worker belonging to a class of employees known for earning higher average salaries doing highly skilled work, but not by performing manual labor at their jobs.

So this one is based off of general office workers! obviously. Despite being based off of lamps and presentation board papers I don't think they're very smart or that great for thinking for themselves. they tend to clamor over one of the heads of the rabble-rouser. sometimes fighting amongst each other if either of the rabble-rouser heads wills it. which is often.

Rabble-Rouser: a person who speaks with the intention of inflaming the emotions of a crowd of people, typically for political reasons.

I like to think that the two heads of the rabble-rouser have different personalities. or at least very differing opinions. they love to hear themselves speak, often trying to speak over the other rouser. they're based off of speakers and a bit off of cog buildings! i always looked at the eyes of those things ad thought they would look interesting on a cog. i feel like if they didn't share the same health-pool they would order their white collars to "get" the other. but since they do, they do nothing but talk, talk and talk and the occasional infighting proxy battle. the boombox side has a tie because the initial desk jockey design did have ties! and i thought it would be an interesting homage to have one of them have a tie.

Tier 4 of the Dummybots/ Dummy Cogs! We have Weekend Warrior and Associate Specialist: Socializer

based on equipment and co-workers who would rather gossip than actually work! they're also. girl bosses. more stuff about design choices and name choices under the cut!

Weekend Warrior: a person who does a particular activity (such as a sport) only on the weekends. Can be seen boasting or talking about said activities during work hours as means of idle chit chat.

Plain and simple, she's based off of sports or P.E equipment! She has a teal football helmet for a head, Hypno Glasses as "eye protection", festival flags practically falling out of her sleeves, which i've also colored to match red and yellow penalty flags. her little pocket squares are also penalty flags. I gave her the buff body type because i feel like it reflected her athletic theming as it invokes or is supposed to invoke the feeling of large protective gear and padding under her suit for sports. as well as having weird.. office shoe cleats. so! to get into why she has hypno glasses, i think she was made in mind for advanced lure and trap techniques in training. teaching folks about lure and dazed debuffs which is why she has the broken glasses to denote that but also why her gear is so cracked from falling face first into the floor because of an awry marbles or banana peel. its also why her gear is solely based off of sport protective gear as well! I think in true to her name, she would be very competitive so she would have a temper and wouldn't take being tricked too well. opting to beat the hell out of folks who used the trap or lure gag instead of the person who has done the most damage like a traditional cog fight. she has a big bow because i wanted it to be reminiscent of reward ribbons. she is the best sportball player in the junkyard after all!

Socializer: Somebody who likes to participate in conversations or after work activities as a means of socialization and in general enjoys mixing with others socially.

Socializer is the girlboss whos always trying to get the newest hottest goss and trying to get people to get drinks with her after work. Her face is based off of staple removers! I've always played with them like they're were big fanged mouths wanting to just go "blah blah blah" all day. her bright red makeup and eyes are based off of dolls, her eyes would probably close if she lies down lol. I sort of wanted a shiny effect to her makeup, being made out of bright red tape or reflective tape than actual makeup. Her neck piece is a cup, more specifically the big plastic and colorful cups in children's tea sets. her bow is big, shiny and glittery is reminiscent of a teddy bear's bow. as well as her body type, i wanted to make her more approachable and soft almost plushie like. as well as her lapels big and rounded to get this sort of effect. her pocket squares are based off of bright party napkins. Overall I wanted her to based off of office and tea party equipment as well as soft dolls and plushies to make her seem approachable.

If you read all of that, you get to have this cool picture of the weekend warrior without her lure glasses. (it gets thrown off when she gets hit too hard!) Shes going to beat you up!

also i know theyre not supposed to really have personalities, because dummy bots are just advanced training dummies. but i like to think they have some personality quirks to all of them.

What if there were more "Dummy Cogs" like The Desk Jockeys in TTCC?

Warning? None of this is probably canon compliant. Please don't be mad they're just silly little guys..

Well uh? wonder no longer??? Prism (me) has made the fan-tier just for you! Initially drafted to help toons learn about more advanced concepts like Specialists, Battle Adaption, Corporate Tiers and... Boss Fights? These silly little things proved a bit too volatile to control, and with the enemy cogs finding them to be a bit too wacky and unprofessional to be properly "influenced" It's been said that they have been sent to where all junk goes. The scrapyard in the outskirts of town!

Though... its been said, if you're exceptionally quiet, you could hear the scrapped Dummy Cogs, wandering and making the closest attempts at speech to each other.

At the second to the bottom of the tier and above desk jockeys we have: Kitchen Slob & Associate Specialist: Work-A-Holic!

Inspired by the messy looks of Throw and Squirt Gags, as well as some less than helpful habits. rambling about name choices and designs below the cut!

Kitchen Slob: somebody, who leaves dirty dishes on the counter or in the sink, abandons meals in the microwave and forgets about food that they placed in the fridge.

I wanted to base Kitchen Slob off of the messy splotches off of throw gag residue! As well as the aforementioned dirty dishes and misplaced cookery and food. His eyes are googly eyes, giving him a silly wall eyed stare. i also like to think it shakes when it gets hit. He's a bit of a mess, he doesnt know how to tie his bowtie and his hands are always covered in some sort of goo, whatever it is, it's ALWAYS sticky! Gross!

Work-a-holic: a person who works compulsively. A workaholic experiences an inability to limit the amount of time they spend on work despite negative consequences such as damage to their relationships or health.

Work-a-holic was something I really wanted to delve in. He has a lot of more subtle reasoning behind his design. I initially wanted his design to be more akin to be the water coolers you find in an office. But then I realized, toons DONT have water coolers like that. The cooler you see in the training room is just a giant seltzer bottle. Considering where they're made, A schoolhouse, I wanted to go for a watercooler you'd see in P.E or in school sports! Though the nod to the workplace watercooler is still there, with the stacks of colorful paper triangle cups you'd see attached to the office cooler. He's just as much of a mess as Kitchen Slob, if the Kitchen Slob is Sticky, this guy is weirdly always wet, and always smelling like mildew. The both of them are subtle but serious health risks. Gross!

dummybot suggestion: corridor warrior. an employee who rarely or doesn't use their desk and mostly roams around.

i forgot i had a mailbox! here's a cool little friend that i totally didnt make like 3 months ago and forgot about.

this is also a great reminder to actually queue the rest of the dummy bots i have in my drafts and forgot to queue. they have a cool gimmick of they like to collect paper so they're immune to firing and c&ds bc they're "ignored and collected instead" but the other boss rewards are a-ok.

also bucket helmet! reminds me of a hermit crab.
