It’s finally #ElectionDay in Maine! I cannot emphasize how important today’s election is. I have been following this and waiting for this since shortly after moving here. So many lies from @avangrid @hydroquebec @necec_me yet Mainers can see right through it all. From the fact that this project has no benefits, only destruction, to our environment, to the lie that it is only 54’ wide when it’s already about 100’. From HydroQuebec’s recklessness to their own indigenous people and influencing our elections, to @mainersforfairlaws (ironic name) alluding that a “yes” vote is the same thing as getting rid of your health care and taking your gun rights away. I think we have had enough. I am so excited to cast my vote and hold these companies accountable.
