I drew some sketches of the four horror rpg games that I like. I haven't played any myself but watched let's plays. I love the stories they tell. Fran Bow being the more mythical of the four I put.
I realized that either the characters have some animal friend or "is" the animal. Lol.
I think I like horror RPGs mostly because the horror elements are mythical. It also highlights the nice parts as well. Relationships are cute or the characters themselves are.
There was a module on one of my art history classes had that was about nature and the sublime where nature is shown as terrifying but beautiful. I think the horror rpgs I like kinda show this in some way.
