This Dumpling Wrappers Stirfry is a delicious and creative way to use store-bought dumpling wrappers. The stir-fried mixed vegetables and crispy wrappers are coated in a savory sauce, making it a delightful Asian-inspired dish.
Ingredients: 1 package store-bought dumpling wrappers. 2 tablespoons vegetable oil. 1 cup sliced mixed vegetables e.g., bell peppers, carrots, broccoli. 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms. 1/2 cup sliced onions. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1/4 cup soy sauce. 2 tablespoons oyster sauce. 1 tablespoon sesame oil. 1 teaspoon sugar. 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional. Salt and pepper to taste. Chopped green onions for garnish.
Instructions: Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat. Add the sliced mixed vegetables, mushrooms, and onions to the skillet. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until they start to soften. Push the vegetables to one side of the skillet and add the minced garlic to the other side. Cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Combine the vegetables and garlic, then add the soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, sugar, and red pepper flakes if using. Stir-fry for an additional 2 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld. Remove the vegetable mixture from the skillet and set it aside. Wipe the skillet clean and add the remaining 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil. Place a few dumpling wrappers in the skillet, making sure they don't overlap. Cook for 1-2 minutes on each side until they turn crispy and golden brown. Repeat until all wrappers are cooked. Return the vegetable mixture to the skillet, tossing it with the crispy dumpling wrappers. Cook for an additional 2 minutes until everything is well combined and heated through. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving. Serve your Dumpling Wrappers Stirfry hot and enjoy!
