oh what the heckie that was way easier than I thought
I'm still very learning how to use this thing, and I very miss PS's handling of masking tools so I am waddling around trying to figure out a new workflow for myself on clip studio
@dundeelemonade
so, i’m picking up my old lenormand decks again after a year of getting dusty looking pretty on the shelf, cause my coworkers at my new job are all a lil witchy and i wanted to show off my collection, and now i’m curious—
this may be an utterly ridiculous question, but hopefully only about as ridiculous as asking about MI classpects: do you associate ethan & co with particular lenormand cards?
that's an interesting question because I don't tend to associate Lenormand cards with characters due to the way Lenormand is read vs RWS tarot.
That said.
Ethan Hunt: The Rider. Obviously. Obviously? The card of the fleeting visitor, the transitory guest, the harbinger of change.
Benji Dunn: The Ring. Commitment and promises, binding things together, recollection of emotional truths, and completion.
Luther Stickell: The Anchor. Less movement, more of the foundation, the tether that can keep everyone from blowing away in the storm.
Ilsa Faust: The Clouds. The future being obscured by something beyond her control, uncertainty, the incorrect oracle. If she finally overcomes that, than The Lily, not for the sensual connotations so much as understanding of the self, the body's limits, and comfort in self-understanding.
hey, that character with the eyepatch reminds me of one of my favorite ocs, and now i’m a bit curious about this fear and hunger series - do you have a recommendation for which let’s play to watch?
omg!! daan!! <3 he has such a great design, i'd love to see your oc ^^
i watched this playthrough (Olivia's route, all endings I think?), and this playthrough (O'saa's route, by the same person) before i bought the game. He was pretty knowledgeable about the series and did a good job of seeing a lot of the possible ends, scenes, and content!
after that, i strongly recommend checking out this channel on youtube. they post a bunch of cutscenes, boss battles, character trivia stuff, etc. from the game in digestible videos, so if there are any moments you missed or just want to see more in depth, they're probably on there.
i hope you enjoy!!! and also definitely heed the tws at the start of the game ^^; it's a lot more graphic than it comes acros sin tumblr posts so i feel obligated to warn.
so i just got stuck with a wave of fierce curiosity, and you’re one of the friendliest and most active authors i follow—question one, do you ever go back and read old comments? and if so, (question two) do you have specific favorite comments?, and if not, (alternate question two) what kinds of comments get you the most excited to see in your inbox?
also, unrelated, but the podfic reading of avots is REALLY REALLY GOOD and i wish i had a better mobile game to mindlessly play while listening to it.
hi dundee hiiii! :D
of course i go back and read old comments, all the time! getting comments is not about getting a +1 to my stats (like, that's also a nice feeling, don't get me wrong, but i've got views and kudos for that), it's about actually discussing my story with people, first by seeing how they reacted to it (how are they feeling about it? which lines stood out to them? did they pick up everything i'd laid down? did they pick up stuff i hadn't consciously laid down? can they tell where it's going? is it too obvious or instead too cryptic?) and then by getting the chance to discuss my process with them. by rereading comments i'm reminded of good times, but also i can see how i was working/thinking at the time and if i've evolved since. if not for comments i'd definitely be a worse writer.
i don't have specific favorite comments, in the sense that i can't exclaim "oh yeah the third comment on the fifth chapter of my seventeeth fic was my favorite", but i do have favorite kinds of comments. generally speaking, the longer the better, but i love people who get analytic, people who quote every line they like and add their specific reaction to each one, people who just stream-of-consciousness their reaction at me, etc. all the ones that really get into the text are obviously my favorite because getting into the text is what i like best in the world (and if it's MY text we're getting into? oh boy!).
THE AVOTS PODFIC IS FUCKING AMAZING AND I STILL CANT BELIEVE IT EXISTS AND EVERYONE SHOULD GO LISTEN TO IT!!!! can you believe nonplussed is doing the AVOTS extras also????
10, 13, 18, 25 for the ask game? 😇
10. What is your go to fantasy?
Honestly? I don't really fantasize. Mostly I just replay porn I enjoy in my head, or actively watch/read something new.
13. Do you have any kinks that are unrealistic/can’t be done irl?
Oh my god like half of them. Stomach bulges/inflation, all the way through, micro/macro, monster fucking, fucking orifices that can't actually be fucked (wounds/nipples/etc), knotting, guro, mind-break.
I also have things that are realistic but I still won't touch with a ten foot pole like pregnancy/lactation and watersports.
18. What is something you are into that you haven’t seen talked about much?
Hmmm...you don't see much talk about fire play now that I think about it. Getting set on fire is extremely fun, actually, and so far is the only thing thats activated my fight or flight response! (No, the knife to my throat didn't lmao, I surprised both myself and the Dom by physically leaning into it)
25. When did you last cum? What was it to?
Uhhhh last night iirc and I think I was reading a story about an older teen grooming his younger brother. It was mind-break and yummy =3
hey, it looks like tumblr broke something with how blog urls are viewed in the browser vs the dashboard blog viewer, and currently i'm not sure it's possible to reblog from your blog at its url. would it be possible to poke around at the theme you're using and see if there's a way to add reblog links to the posts? or at least point out where the reblog link is that i'm missing so that i can start saving photos for my rat cage inspiration blog ;u;
Hi there! I would not be surprised if tumblr did Something, but it seems to be working on my end? When scrolling through the blog, you have to click on the post, then the option to like or reblog should be at the top right corner.
The theme probably could use some revamping though, so I might dig around in it later when I have time and motivation ^^;
For now, it might honestly be easier to reblog from the blog preview.
