Postcards from Scotland, 2018
Looking out the bar window, the cliffs in the distance are at Dunnet Head, the most Northerly place on the Scottish Mainland. This was taken just after 11pm.
Study nature, love nature, stay close to nature. It will never fail you.

Thurso rocky shoreline between Thurso and Scrabster, the video pans over the sea from the cliffs at Dunnet head, with a clear view over to the Orkney Isles at Hoy and round to Scrabster, I sat here for a while, it is so peaceful, there wasn't another soul around...........

Just opened the Rock Rose Gin I got for Christmas and it is lovely!
For the record I actually visited the Rock Rose Gin distillery back in 2020 and got some miniatures while I was there but didn't want to open them.
It may supplant Hendricks as my favourite gin!
So for now, in no particular order, here are my top 5 gins:
Hendricks
Rock Rose
Gordon's Pink (cos being a basic bitch is sometimes my style)
Boe Violet
and Bombay Sapphire
And please visit the Rock Rose distillery if you're near John O'Groats or doing the NC500 - their distillery is lovely and you can wander about their botanicals garden. Beautiful.
(and Dunnet is the most amazing little village)
