Remember when I said I was going to do Duolingo Math?

Well, I have a bunch of screenshots I haven't posted, so here we go.

It started me off on fractions. Fairly standard representations that schools use.

Sometimes you answer by dragging a slidey bar. This one has set points you can drag to.

There were also basic calculations

On that second one, you can drag the slider to any place on the bar, not just set numbers, so there's some estimation of length/proportion involved. So far I haven't encountered an answer that wasn't either halfway, one quarter, three quarters, or at the end.

Hey, Duo? You haven’t told me if you want me to round up or down. Because as far as I’m aware, 0 is also a potential “nearest 10”. Do you start your numbers with something, or with nothing?

I hope they add harder soon lol. It's been fun to refresh, but it's still so basic that anyone who has finished fifth grade won't learn anything new. It's fairly new, so I get it! I'm hoping for some algebra or something next!

Man, Duolingo maths thing puts squares that are so fucking damn little like i can see them and count them correctly with; 1). Sleep deprived eyesight, and 2). A cracked phone screen
