"Like You Do," by Angel Taylor "And I've never had a taste before, but now you've got me wanting more. You're playin' it cool, I know what you do. I feel like a fool, but I would be feelin' it anyway. 'Cause nobody loves me. You're messin' around, I figured you out, you're taking me down, but I would be feelin' it anyway. 'Cause nobody loves me like you do."
Brys checked himself one more time in the mirror, fixing his hair and straightening out his tie. Him and Sammi had decided to have the date two hours after school so they would both have time to get ready. He grabbed Moulin Rouge, his favorite movie of all time, and a Disney one at random and stuck both of them into his laptop case. Checking his pocket for the fifth time in the last half hour, just to make sure he had her gift with him, Brys headed out the door. He was just on time too. It took fifteen minutes to get to his girlfriend's house, and he left exactly fifteen minutes before he was supposed to be there. Brys just had to make sure he made all the green lights on the way.
Blue Spanish eyes, teardrops are falling from your Spanish eyes
Please please don't cry, this is just adios and not good-bye
Soon I'll return, bringing you all the love your heart can hold
Please say "Si Si" say you and your Spanish eyes will wait for me
Soon I'll return, bringing you all the love your heart can hold
Please say "Si Si" say you and your Spanish eyes will wait for me
Say you and your Spanish eyes will wait for me
“Your Highness.” He bobbed his head, hands never straying from the keys of his piano. “I’m Samuel.”
“It’s a pleasure, Prince Samuel.” Breeze smiled, skirts rustling as she wandered over to the piano where her suitor sat. “My name is Breeze. It’s ah, quite lovely. What you’re working on.”
His face flushed, something the young princess thought was more than adorable. They’d only just met, and already, he was embarrassed.
“Th-Thank you. I’ve been working on this piece for months now.” Ever since his parents had told him about the princess he was set to wed, he’d been set on writing her an original composition. “I’m glad you like it.”
“It’s beautiful. How long have you been playing?” The prince slid over on the bench, making room for Breeze, and she sat next to him, watching how rapidly his fingers moved across the keys. Breeze loved music, could play a few instruments herself and sang. But there would always be something about the piano.
“I’ve been playing since I was three years old, and I fell in love with it.” A soft smile graced his features as he continued to play, and Breeze found herself captivated by the pure happiness he found when he played.
As the piece came to a close, she found the smile was directed at her, and she returned it wholeheartedly.
“Would you like to see the gardens? It’s where I find most of my inspiration.”
