Oh my supreme being, really?
Bonjour mes chers amis! Depuis plusieurs mois vous assistez à l'élaboration par mes soins d'un grand travail sur Robespierre, chaque semai
"A view through this window where Robespierre must surely have come to rest his shoulder from time to time..."
"...it was in this space...that the dining room, the kitchen, and a small living room used to be. All of that is gone now, but the space is still there!
"...I'm eating peacefully in the very same room where Robespierre, as well as guests like Saint-Just, Couthon, and others, used to eat between 1791 and 1794. Tradition has it that this is also where Robespierre sometimes read Rousseau or Corneille to family and friends."
Followed the link to that blog from this blog; it sounds like there's been a lot of uncertainty & debate, (because of course there is; Max could not possibly leave anything but complexity behind...), but just the thought that the place where he lived still exists in some form is deeply moving.
Does anyone know if it's true? Both blogs seem pretty well-reasearched & believable.
