duplicitouscaptain has an amazing grasp on their muse and honestly amazes me. they're a joy to have on my dash and they deserve so much love that it's quite laughable.

Teppei peeked through the bushes he was hiding in, studying his target. He aimed his water gun at the back of the man’s neck before pressing the trigger. ღ

He wasn’t sneaking out because he was scared or some nonsense like that. Ghost stories were the norm at a training camp, and Oikawa had listened to plenty of them without getting the least bit scared. There was just too much noise around and maybe it could be classified as creepy, but Oikawa would claim it was just annoying.
So keeping a wary eye out he snuck out of the room the third years were sharing and went to find a more quiet room. With his phone in his pocket he felt well equipped to get away from all that creaking and groaning he had heard. There were only teams staying at this inn so he was bound to find at least one empty room since people tended to share for camps. The captain crept through the rooms listening carefully for any sounds until he found one that was blissfully empty.
There was a rolled up futon in the corner that he ignored for one of the new ones folded by the door. Setting it up he started to get himself settled before he suddenly heard a shuffle behind him. Freezing for a moment he prayed that it was just the wind, the walls or just anything easily explained and not terrifying. To his dismay another shuffle was heard followed by a groan and he couldn’t ignore it anymore.
Slowly he craned his neck and illuminated was a large figure. The shock sent Oikawa falling backwards and an undignified yelp bursting from his lips. “G-g-ghost!”
