If they met their childhood versions, what advice would they give them?

What is the comfort zone of each character? And the person who can calm them down?

Question 1:

Griffin: "Don't pay too much attention to others' achievements. Focus on your own. They matter just as much."

Tris: "Quality over quantity when it comes to friends."

Dell: "Blind trust will hurt you."

Taipan: "Don't take anything in life for granted."

Question 2:

Griffin: you and Alex are the only ones that can calm him down. im not sure about comfort zone but a hard boundary of his is prying into his business, like going behind his back to snoop. Also don't touch his lenses without permission :( they're expensive.

Tris: you and Nina can calm him down. Hard boundary would be lying and sneaking around (cheating). Or you acting super spoiled and resorting to begging and/or bribing him to get you something.

Dell: you and Mags. Hard boundary would be forcing him to do something he doesn't want to, especially if you do it in a manipulative way like flirting with him.

Taipan: you and Melon. Hard boundary would be you trying to act like a nurse or doing things for him without asking. Like if he's in a chair and you start pushing him. Or you tell him to sit down while you get whatever he needs. He doesn't want to be treated like he can't do anything for himself anymore.

sorry again, suddenly I had a lot of questions

How long would they wait to move in with their partner?

What would their ideal wedding be like, if they want to get married? Who would they invite and who would they not?

How would they deal with a romantic separation and divorce? If they all want to get married, of course.

Griffin: he'd be googling the standard waiting period, but honestly if you're getting along, he'd probably ask around 6 months.

Wedding? Oh god. He's panicking HAHA if you're down for it, yall would elope in the courthouse and tell people later.

Separation? Divorce? Little owl, I don't know those words.

Tris: you're besties so immediately when you start dating he'd be bugging you to move in.

Gods, you think you've seen a big wedding, just wait until you meet the entire Solis lineage. Yeah, you're going to Spain, his entire family is there, and no you don't have a choice in the matter. Have fun!

He would do whatever he could to fix the relationship. If it led to separation/divorce, he'd back down. He doesn't want to force you. Doesn't want to make you miserable. Will still be your best friend, but he dies a little inside if/when you move on.

Dell: would want to move in immediately but wouldn't say anything. Would start putting out feelers around 3 months and if you're receptive, he'd ask by 5-6 months.

Dell doesn't really have any family, so any invitees would include Mags and your other friends. Maybe a cute backyard or park wedding. Something small and intimate.

Oh god, if you manage to marry and then divorce this man? He's done. He just lost his everything.

Taipan: I meaaaaan. It's been years and he hasn't said anything already. Mans would wait and wait and wait until you brought it up and then agree immediately.

Wedding would also be small and intimate. Not in a church but perhaps his parents' backyard. Only close friends and relatives. Lots of seating so he doesn't have to stand too long.

Like Tris, he'd try anything to fix the relationship. After some time, you'd split amicably and he'd still be there for you but much less. The stress has him in the hospital again, maybe for the last time.

For all of them, it depends on the situation.

Griffin would be really concerned and upset, only looking to make sure Y/N is okay and safe.

Tris would be angry and would want to know all of the details, hoping he could somehow fix the issue or get some sense of revenge and justice for Y/N.

Dell would also be concerned and upset, blame himself definitely for not keeping a closer eye on Y/N.

Taipan would probably spiral tbh lmfao Y/N is the most important person in the world to him.

Griffin: very much a switch, hasn’t had a chance to really know what he likes. As for kinks, I think he’d be into S&M more than anything, giving more than receiving.

Tris: dominant leaning but will sub under the right circumstances. Into roleplay and the master/servant archetype hehe.

Dell: dominant, no matter what. He needs to have control to feel confident and comfortable. He’s big into begging and BDSM.

Taipan: more submissive leaning but can be dominant, though it would be a soft/serving dom. Biting kink, wants to mark you up and wear your marks as well.

3. I'm curious about Taipan, is there a reason why he chose that name? MC only knows him virtually, right? Is there a reason why they have never met in person?

Yeah! Some characters know each other. As for opinions, you'll see most of that in game :3 don't want to spoil that hehe

Most of them in some shape or form have already developed some feelings for MC, but those feelings grow as the game progresses. I think each of them are mostly biding their time for the perfect moment, but ultimately, they usually take the first step. uvu

Uh, so in the original novel version of Duplicity, Taipan's name was actually EdgyTaipan, and it was just a name I came up with HAHA it's been shortened to make it easier for me to format in Ren'Py. Lore wise? probably just cause it sounds cool LMAO and they've never met because MC was focused on their writing for a long time and didn't make time for anything else other than occasional online gaming and chatting. Plus my HC is that MC lived too far, but that's a thing that's up to players as well uvu/

Griffin: Yes, there's a tattoo of a bird inspired by the flycatcher bird along with a snake on his right forearm. As for more tattoos, he's quite tempted.

Dell: Has a name across his ribs on the left side, and a floral piece on his right hip. On the fence about getting more.

Taipan: has quite a few blackline-esque tattoos on his upper chest and neck and forearms. Down for getting more when he can afford it uvu
